Amazing
GGuest UserNice stay with great and accommodating people from the free shuttle and free breakfast to the front desk assistance and check-in. Breakfast was really good. The room was a tad small but there were 3 of us so that was a part of feeling cramped. Would recommend and I would stay here again on another stay to Santa Fe. The room had a cedar ceiling which I found unique. Also don’t miss the luminaries on the top of the hotel. The picture below is the cedar ceiling in the room.

GGuest UserMixed feelings about this place. The hotel itself is OK. Not really five star but nice. The rooms are small. Our room on the second floor looked out over and old air conditioner. When we asked to be moved, the staff told us “we are stuck between two buildings. None of the rooms have a nice view”. It feels like the hotel is working at 20% staffing rate. Couldn’t get an evening drink in the bar/restaurant. No seating. We had two breakfasts. One was great (the eggs done an way). The second was pancakes. They were OK but the maple syrup on the menu was replaced with pancake syrup. Not what you expect from a $400+ per night hotel. The maid service was outstanding. They carefully refreshed and organized our room. Room service was only available 8am-8pm. Again not what you expect for the $. Overall, I would not probably not stay there again. Feels a little like you are paying for what it used to be and not what it is today.

RreimexI booked a suite with two double beds, and since I was planning to walk all day, I emailed the hotel directly to make sure I would be able to get a room with a bathtub to relieve my fatigue, but unfortunately, because a group of guests had arrived on the day, I ended up with a room with only a shower during my stay, which was disappointing. There was also no coffee maker in the room, so I had to go to the bar area near the front desk to get one until 11am, which was inconvenient. It was a short distance from the room, but when I had no choice but to get dressed and go to get a coffee, I happened to see a person wearing only a bathrobe with the front open, with their legs open and barefoot, which taught me that I don't need to be so careful. I was in a hurry to look away, so I don't know if the person was a man or a woman. It was convenient that you could request a free shuttle bus (only a tip) anywhere within the map of Santa Fe center (you can get a map) from around 9 or 10am until 10pm. When you leave the hotel, tell the front desk and wait at the entrance, and a very friendly driver will come to you in about 1-5 minutes. Also, to pick up from outside to the hotel, you need to call the front desk and tell them the location. This time, I couldn't use the phone in the United States, so I used Uber taxi every time I went back, but I had no problem using Uber taxi in Santa Fe. It's okay to walk to the center during the day, but it seems better to avoid walking after dark for safety reasons. Tomasita's restaurant, which is just a few minutes walk away, served very delicious southwestern food. Also, if you leave the hotel door and go around the parking area, you'll find the Saturday morning Farmers Market right outside the back door. There is also an area (indoors and outdoors) adjacent to the Farmers Market where you can buy souvenirs such as accessories and tile art directly from local producers, which was fun. At night, you can enjoy live music in the restaurant area with a fireplace. The Native American flute performance was very fantastic and wonderful. The room has a high ceiling and is spacious, but there is no door on the sink, so it's a bit hesitant to use the hair dryer when someone is sleeping. The bed was high, so Japanese people had to climb up on it and couldn't sit down, but it was very comfortable.

JJINMINGThe hotel does not have breakfast, but you can go to the Mexican restaurant for 1 minute to walk and taste OK! The hotel is not far from the ancient city, driving more than 10 minutes! Like a motel, you can park your car outside your room!
