Phenomenal experience here at Hyatt House in Sandton! Set in the suburbs of Johannesburg, this hotel provides a safe and tranquil environment. Rooms were super comfortable and had an apartment sort of setup with a stove, microwave, and mini fridge. In addition, the staff here are absolutely INCREDIBLE. I honestly cannot thank them enough. They are super kind and will make sure you have a great stay in Johannesburg. From the front desk to the breakfast staff, everyone was amazing, and I am looking forward to returning back to Joburg one day.

I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm. The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens. Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat. My stay at Hotel Sky was a much needed staycation for me. I needed some peace & quiet for the weekend and I got exactly that and more! The room was beautifully vibrant & clean, the bed was comfortable and cozy. I loved the blackout blinds it made my sleep even better. I enjoyed the spa so much & the ladies there are friendly, in fact from the moment I walked into the hotel I was helped with the checking in process & taken to my room by one of the staff members. I love how everyone is hands on in making sure your stay is wonderful.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪 Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

An exceptional stay. The location is perfect, but what truly blew me away was the outstanding level of service. The staff exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, literally a 5-minute walk away. The grounds are large and secure. The restaurant near reception is very pleasant with decent food, though the wait was excessively long. We waited almost an hour for a burger... Otherwise, the room has everything you need, including dishes. A hairdryer is available upon request. The soundproofing isn't great, but luckily our neighbors weren't noisy. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but very tasty. The potatoes at Pablo's restaurant were particularly impressive.

It was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

I had an outstanding stay here during my recent business trip. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to navigate to meetings while still having great local amenities nearby. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, which is always my top priority. I was also very impressed with the facilities; the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there was a comfortable workspace that made it easy to stay productive. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff was professional, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a seamless experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for work or leisure.
