I specifically booked a room with an Opera House view, but ended up getting a room that only looked at the Opera House roof. An absolutely terrible experience. I booked this hotel for New Year's Eve, paying almost 8000 RMB a night for six consecutive days. By the third day, I was already regretting it. The cleaning staff were dishonest; a bottle of champagne from my room disappeared without any explanation, and an aromatherapy diffuser was also taken by the cleaner. After checking out, I was inexplicably charged dozens of AUD for snacks from the room that I never even touched. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Later, I left my luggage in my room at 9am to have breakfast in the hotel. When I returned at 10am, my room card no longer worked. The front desk staff told me my card had been dropped into the check-out box, which was confusing since I was traveling alone — who did that? To make matters worse, when I finally got back into my room, all of my luggage was gone. The housekeeper said it had been sent to the front desk without my consent. This was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional, and I hope management takes steps to improve communication and respect guests’ check-out times

Perfect night away - a beautiful modern hotel and rooms with fantastic views. Very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. We had cocktails at Cirq , dinner at Woodcut and breakfast at Epicurean. Had great food , drinks and service at all 3. Fantastic buffet breakfast !!
