In Barcelona, where hotel prices are expensive, a budget of under €50 per night for a private room is attractive. I didn't expect the price to be the only price, but it betrayed my expectations in a good way.
Very close to Las Ramblas, 10 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya. (The nearest metro station is Drassanes on the L3 line)
The room is clean and has a toilet and shower. (In this price range, most are shared toilets and showers.)
Amenities were also small, except for the toothbrush.
1 small bottle of mineral water + tea pack, free coffee powder stick. (I have a kettle, so I'll use that)
The refrigerator is empty.
A large suitcase can be spread out in the single room, but it will feel a little cramped.
English is spoken at the front desk 24 hours a day. (Arrival late at night is OK)
Breakfast is included for €6. (Tell the front desk when you check in and pay) → The contents are common continental style (cheese, ham, sweets, etc.), but all you can eat. (Available hours 8:00 am to 10:00 am) I think there is no loss even if you add the same content at a cafe on Las Ramblas from about €8.
Everything was more than expected.

Very well located and kind personal. Limited service in room (only on day 1 a little bottle water and tea, 3 other days nothing was refilled). Beds rather hard, not comfortable and noisy. We could also hear our neighbours through the wall (even when they were just talking) . Shower was warm and good but the water would just leak everywhere. Not worth the price we payed

Very nicely decorated hotel, friendly staff. Room well appointed, comfy beds with extra pillows and blankets. Easy to use safe for your valuables. Kettle, tea and small bottles of water provided (no coffee or milk). Fridge large enough to fit lots of water/milk/alcohol in!
Nice bathroom with a great shower. Only downsides to the room were that the aircon in the room was not particularly effective, and there was not a huge amount of space in the room so with three people sharing, it was a bit cosy.
We were warned that the road outside the hotel could be a bit dodgy at night, but we didn't experience any problems walking back in the dark. You just need to be sensible, and keep your your phone and wallet out of sight.
Very convenient location for La Rambla, the maritime museum, Port Vell and the Gothic Quarter. Great bakery selling lovely coffee a minute down the road, towards the port. Great stopover for anyone catching a cruise ship from Barcelona too - the cruise ship shuttle buses were a few minutes walk away.

Hotel is located fairly close to a main avenue that has lots of shopping as well as easy, walkable access to major monuments. The room was nice and staff were very helpful during our stay. Unfortunately the walls are quite thin so if you have loud and uncaring neighbors like we had, you will probably be kept up at night.

Room was clean and updated. Location was nice and close to the La Rambla. Entrance street to hotel is a little sketchy. Front desk was very helpful in securing transportation to the airport for us. All in all we would stay here again.
