Although the position of the hotel is pleasant with wonderful views and nice beaches, the standard was so poor that it was hard to enjoy the environment. The food was inedible. I don’t mind plain cooking but the basic ingredients were so dreadful it was difficult to eat a meal at the buffet. Hardly any fresh fruit or vegetables - no berries in the morning at breakfast, most of the food was frozen and brought in rather than freshly cooked. Indeed one evening, a cake was served frozen by mistake as the staff hadn’t taken it out of the freezer early enough! The resort seemed to cater to the lowest common denominator, whereas nearby resorts of a similar price point had much better food and service, Arbatax Resort didn’t even seem to care. The rooms were basic and just about passable although the electrics were old and plugging in a hairdryer for example was a risky business. There are many other nearby resorts that are prettier, cleaner and offering better food. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had excellent stay at cottages , nice house beside beach area. The food was excellent in the cottages restaurant .Great meat and fish dishes prepared by chefs , made extra effort to serve main dishes with lovely sauces.Really great table service for breakfast and dinner.

We stayed for 12 nights in a family party of 4. The resort is in a lovely location in well-laid out woodland overlooking the sea. Within the grounds is quite a large park, with a lovely walk around the headland with good views. One advantage of the Cottage over most other hotels in the resort is access to its own pool, which was quieter than the main pool and very valuable to us. The room was nice, slightly sparsely furnished but with enough room to put our clothes, and is air conditioned, which was a godsend. Service was generally good, and always cheerful, but check-in took a long time. There were one or two small housekeeping and maintenance issue but nothing major. More difficult was the parking, where it could be hard to get a parking space in the assigned car park if you arrived late in the day, and you might have to go to another car park further away. They need more parking. We were on B&B, so used the restaurants in the resort part of the time and those in Tortoli part of the time. Breakfasts were good, as were the meals we ate in the resort. Overall, we found it a good resort in a lovely setting, slightly showing its age in the décor. We had a good holiday.

The most disorganized hotel I’ve ever been to. We were waiting for our room and there was a loud bang and everyone at the pool started running away. None of the several staff who were present made any sort of announcement but I overheard someone say it was a gas explosion so we left the hotel, but they would not issue us a refund. Before this, it took them 20 minutes to make a drink with 2 ingredients at the pool bar because the bartender was in training and apparently didn’t want to make the drink because they kept walking away to do non-pressing things like fold napkins. After the explosion when we were being driven back to our car, which we had to park very far away, the driver didn’t know where we were and got lost twice in the hotel complex. Also, bad mosquitos. We were probably there 45 minutes total and when we left my legs were covered in bites.

We arrived at the hotel on July 25, where we booked a superior room in the Cottage section. Since our arrival, there has been no hot water in our superior room, which is a smaller sample of our friends' Classic room, the restaurant buffet is below criticism, the typical Italian dishes are reduced to a minimum, there is no choice, the meats are hardly filled, if they run out they are not refilled, the servers are unfriendly, the the price of drinks and food in the bar is unfairly expensive, apparently the hotel tries to provide the minimum for its guests. The saddest thing is that they do nothing to solve the lack of hot water in our room, and my family has to bathe in cold water for the fourth day.

We had the most incredible and unforgettable holiday! My boyfriend and I spent 8 days at this resort, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. To our delight, we were informed upon arrival that our room had been upgraded to a sea view room! The beach was stunning, with crystal clear water perfect for snorkeling. The pools were luxurious and immaculately clean. Even though it rained continuously for 2 days, it didn't dampen our experience at all! We went on a fantastic boat trip organised through the resort's excursions, thanks to Julia who was delightful and provided us with other trip recommendations as well. The only minor downsides to our holiday were the expensive food and drink prices and the spa day we had anticipated, which unfortunately never opened during our stay. However, the reception staff were extremely apologetic and compensated us with an upgraded wristband. The staff's commitment to ensure an amazing experience for all guests was great. I highly recommend visiting this resort!🫶☺️
