Perfect location and cleanliness. There was a bit of a hassle at check-in: the reception is in another hotel (they're connected by a hallway). But once everything was sorted, it was easier. Basic breakfast, but everything was good, and the dining room had city views.

The hotel is super convenient, just a few minutes from the train station. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the room was very clean and comfortable. They also provide a free city transport card for the duration of your stay, which is really handy.

We were usung public transport and this hotel was perfect.  It is only a 2 minute walk from the Central Station.  Plus there was a tram 1/2 block from the hotel that took you downtown.  We were given a “Basel Card” which gave us free transport, even to the airport. In addition, what was called a continental breakfast was much more.  Scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, various breads and an excellent coffee machine were all included.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to the train station and about a 10-minute walk to the old town's main attractions. From the hotel room, you can enjoy views of both the sunrise and sunset. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, the quality is very good. The only drawback is that there are a few steps leading to the hotel lobby, which can be inconvenient for guests with large luggage.

The location was a huge plus, being very close to the train station and the tram stop that goes all over the city. The room size was great, and I really appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary snacks, and the refrigerator.

The room was excellent, very spacious, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They even provided a free public transport card. The hotel is right next to the train station, making transportation super convenient. Plus, there are small trains right outside the hotel entrance, all offering free rides!

We stayed for one night over the weekend in Basel. The location, right by the pedestrian zone, was perfect, but… It was a very hot weekend. The room temperature was unbearable, and there was no AC to regulate it. The fridge in the room was empty, no drinks for a minibar. Not even a bottle of water in the room, nothing. Just hot🥵🥵🥵… For an overnight stay costing over €220, plus €30 for the underground parking, and supposedly a 3 or 4-star category, this is completely unacceptable. This was by far the worst hotel stay of my life, and I’ve been to many hotels, both for work and leisure. Absolutely unacceptable, a total rip-off!!!

The hotel is located quite near to the station (around 5-10mins walk away), but you will have to lift your luggage up a flight of stairs to reach their lobby. The hotel is also located near Basel's tourist attractions. The hotel staff who served us during the check in was super friendly and polite, and guided us to look at the city map. Enjoyed the fact that they served fruits and water at their lobby for guests, as we will always get a drink when we exit/enter the hotel.
