The hotel is not far from the city center, which makes it quite convenient. It is also very easy to reach from Basel SBB Central Station by public transport. Bus number 30 runs almost directly in front of the hotel—you can simply cross the street from the station and catch the bus from the corner.
They provided a printed Basel Card at check-in, which allowed me to use public transportation for free during my stay. This was a great advantage.
The staff, especially at check-in, were very attentive and helpful. They showed me places to visit on the map and gave a nice overview of the city.
The hotel itself was comfortable overall. The breakfast was okay in my opinion—worth adding to the room if desired.
The only downside was the cleanliness. The bed sheets in particular were not very clean and could definitely be improved.
Overall, it was a good stay.
