Worst night I’ve had in a hotel for years door’s banging nearly all night constantly noisy people obviously not working people. Seriously considering swapping hotels for next visit can’t risk that again

I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay.
It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub.

Great , friendly staff. Room exceptionally clean. Had everything you needed. Breakfast was very good and you could have what you wanted and reasonably priced too. Would stay again

Good price and excellent breakfast think a new coffee machine is needed as it didn’t taste like as described and was out of service most of the time

Its not soundproof. Could not sleep all night due to noise from upstairs. Phoned the reception twice and they spoke to them, but still didn't solve anything. Place could do with soundproofing. Bath was dirty had hair all over. For the money I paid, I expected better.

Another great visit
Have been a few times now. Has always the staff meet and greet you and couldn't be anymore helpful to make your stay a great one.
The Food is very good and the service is top notch!
Hotel accommodation very clean and comfortable.
Our family members will be visiting again in the near future.
Can't rate the staff high enough.

Stay Marred by Constantly Flushing Toilet
The service from the staff in the pub was excellent but there were some issues with the rooms. Both rooms were very cold and the heating did not work. In room 109 there were two issues, one trivial and the other very serious. The slot where the key card is replaced fell apart and during the second night the toilet cistern went into 'continual flush' mode and was very noisy all night preventing sleep. There appears to be no maintenance plan for 24 hours emergenencies.
