We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would recommend as a premium stay - high quality room and facilities - clean the staff super helpful and it’s a short 15 walk into central Bath

We booked a coach house and stayed for one night. The room decoration is so nice and music was playing when you entered the room! There were snacks like candy, ice-cream, crisps and drinks provided at the little pantry just outside our room. Our kid was so excited about this. The reception lady who helped us to check in was very sincere and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was also superb! We are really happy about our stay here.

Sumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.

Although parking was a bit inconvenient, everything else was beyond my expectations! The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was delicious, and the house is an old Victorian style with high ceilings. The decor is also old-fashioned with an artistic touch. It was very clean and a very good experience. It's within walking distance to various attractions and shops, which is very convenient.

Ctrip's rating for this hotel is five stars, which is significantly inconsistent with its actual condition. Ctrip is advised to reassess the hotel. It's a small hotel with narrow and cramped corridors. Some room amenities were broken. The showerhead was down, the bathroom smelled bad, and one chandelier was covered in a thick layer of dust. This is one of the few hotels where the actual condition doesn't match the rating. While the owner's desire to create a sense of design is commendable, there's considerable room for improvement.

The room is actually nice and quite big. There is a living room and a bedroom. Our room faces north, facing the big tree and the house on the mountain in the distance. Both windows can be opened. There are no gauze curtains, only curtains, but the house opposite is not facing is actually okay. The bathroom is very clean, with typical German-style bathroom facilities, wall-mounted toilets, beige tiles, large bathtubs and showers, and a hot towel rack for plumbing. Simple and practical. Facilities: There is no refrigerator in the room, so there is a pantry on the second floor, which has a refrigerator and some free soda, milk, popcorn, and fruit. Two bottles of mineral water are given in the room. After drinking, you can go to the pantry's filtered water facility to fill new ones. Hygiene: The sanitation is okay, at least the bathroom is cleaned very clean. I saw that the bed was made when I came back at night, but they didn't help fold the clothes, which is different from Asian hotels. Service: The hotel bar is very good, a pot of tea is only 4 pounds, and the breakfast is also delicious, so you don't have to go out for breakfast. The service staff are also very enthusiastic. The location is very good, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station. Bath itself is very small, so it is close to everything. Overall, it is a good choice to stay in Bath, at least this hotel does not require climbing a slope. 😂
