Historic hotel with the best views of the Borowmear islands right across the street. Staff is great, breakfast is outstanding, located between Stresa and Baveno so you’ll need a car since there are no sidewalks and traffic can be scary. Parking is across the street so crossing it can be a challenge. Hotel is historic so it has high ceilings and lots of artwork plus a beautiful garden. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Charming, traditional hotel with incredible views! Located between Stresa and Baveno, this charming traditional hotel is located right on the lake. We were fortunate to have the really spacious two bedroom Superior Quadruple room, which has dual aspect lake views (over Isola Pecatori and Isola Bella). The sunrise views were incredible! We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we weren’t expecting to have separate bedrooms, so this was a real bonus. The hotel feels a bit like you’ve stepped back in time (in a good way). Breakfast good and again, with amazing lakeside views. Location was great - we walked daily into Stresa and it’s really well-located for the ferries and boats to the Borromean Islands. A great find and amazing value!

We came here after driving from Milan, and a series of road repairs, traffic and a quick food stop made us check-in very late. The host was very kind as to wait for us and even show us around the grounds. The room was clean and spacious, had a great view to the lake on one side and a little waterfall on the other. The breakfast on the following morning was very tasty, and the hosts were very helpful on the activities we could do around the area. Will gladly return here

Hotel comodo per il parcheggio e bella la vista del lago dalle camere.Per il resto purtroppo è rimasto tutto all 'epoca della costruzione della struttura (tranne il bagno). Lascia a desiderare la pulizia e la tenuta delle camere,le lenzuola puzzavano tipo naftalina (spero)e piene di peli e capelli come gli asciugamani del bagno,appena aperti e sporchi,logori e con capelli,il materasso vecchissimo, ormai pieno di fosse.Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte ed è bastata perchè nemmeno con la stanchezza del viaggio abbiamo dormito tanto lo squallore.Ha veramente bisogno di una rinfrescata .Per quanto riguarda la colazione allestita con prodotti confezioni è diligentemente sorvegliata da un omino che conta quante volte ti servi.Richieste delle informazioni delle visite in zona o su dove mangiare non fatele ..non saranno esaustivi..Non ci torneremo.Peccato.

Un posto meraviglioso , un gioiellino con una vista mozzafiato ..dove si respira una pace pazzesca , la colazione ci ha molto soddisfatti, e il personale è stato sempre molto accogliente fin da subito ed estremamente gentile, lo consiglio vivamente e ne avrò sempre un ricordo speciale ! :)

Sehr laut! Straße vorm Fenster, Bahn hinterm Haus und Wildbach unter dem Haus. Null erholsam, ausreichend für eine Nacht. Zimmer spartanisch. Frühstück auch für italienische Verhältnisse sehr sparsam. Zwei Croissants wurden abgezählt an den Tisch gebracht. Jeder bekam einen Kaffee auf Bestellung. Als ich nach langem Warten einen zweiten Kaffee nachbestellt habe, kam ein böser Blick des Chefs. Man hatte den Eindruck, es wurde sehr darauf geachtet, dass so wenig wie möglich vom Gast konsumiert wird. Die auf der Website angepriesenen Eierspeisen (Omelette etc.) wurden einem nicht angeboten, es gab nur gekochte Eier. Einziges Plus: toller Blick über den See. Ich würde hier aber nicht noch einmal buchen.

Chaque fois que nous venons au lac Majeur, nous logeons dans cet hôtel. Les propriétaires parlent très bien français. Excellent accueil. Depuis le balcon de la chambre, magnifique vue sur le lac majeur. Excellent petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont très propres. Parking gratuit, très beau jardin fleuri.

Hotel idéalement situé face aux Iles Borromee et à proximité de la jolie ville de Stresa. Hotel et jardin de charme. La chambre que nous avions était un peu vieillotte mais propre et grande. Petit-déjeuner de moyenne qualité mais dans une belle salle à manger avec vue sur le lac. Tarifs très raisonnables pour le secteur. Parking privé.

L'endroit est magnifique et la vue est splendide. Un parking pour se garer est à votre disposition. Le petit déjeuner est super bon, copieux. Cependant, seul point négatif: la literie. Elle est bruyante et d'un autre âge.
