I think the owner should take some training in hospitality industry. Rooms are not superior at all. There is no room service.tje decor of the room was very tired. TV service wasn't free or isn't free. It pay per View service. In total there were 8 channels were available, and those channels were useless. The owner doesn't wake up before 10.30 in the morning so if you have any issues, one has to wait until 10.30...there is no fresh towelling services. According to the owner...guest has to physically collect it from the reception. The only thing the website is correct is the photographs and the location. The rest is not worth the money he is asking for....the room should get cleaned and serviced every morning. Replenish with fresh towelling. There is no excuse for not doing it. Our room was only 3x4 mtr. I would like to give no stars...but then i can't write the review.

Cosy, quiet comfortable old school motel. Great room amenities and friendly helpful staff. Free parking. Very affordable and close to small shopping area with restaurants, cafe, convenience store, drugstore and specialty shops. Easy access to highway and transit, close to riverfront parks for local walks. Convenient home base/pièd à terre for exploring Montréal.

My friend and I stayed here for one night on our way into Montreal. It was just a few minutes drive from the quaint little town where we got dinner. The room had everything we needed, including a TV, mini fridge, sink, dishes, dish soap etc. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

I am usually a generous reviewer and have only ever issued a one star once before but this place merits it. The only really good thing about this place are the owners who live on site. They are friendly and attentive to your needs. However the place is in my opinion sadly in need of repair. See the photos since a picture is indeed worth a thousand words. I doubt that the wiring is to code. We opened what we thought was a closet and found the mess shown in one of the photos. Another photo shows the entrance with a trip hazard right at the front that my partner fell over. It is true that the neighbourhood is great -but nothing about this place is. While our hosts were friendly, you should be aware that they are not readily available from 8pm until 10 am the next day. Do yourself a favour and pass this one by. Even a cheaper rate does not warrant a stay here. Beds are saggy, floors are dirty and cracked, kitchen is tiny and badly laid out (drawers could not open since oven was in the way), ceiling light only works with the fan etc.)

We picked this hotel as it was decently priced and close to the airport (we were in Montreal just for the night). We find the place clean enough and host was welcoming. For the price paid we were happy of our choice and we would recommend in a transit situation similar to ours. Note taxi will be around 20-25 dollars to go there.

Not fancy but very comfortable, feels like home. Comfortable beds, very clean and a lovely property to just sit outside and have a glass of wine. Nice and quiet. Woke up to the sound of birds singing. Lovely stay, thanks.

Roy & his beautiful wife are the proprietors of Chalet Beaconsfield & are absolutely wonderful! They treat you like family and are so kind & caring. Whenever I come " home" to Beaconsfield I always stay here as it's absolutely perfect in every way. Wonderful neighborhood to walk, especially the beauty along the Lakeshore and a ( very) short walk to Beaurepaire Village where dining at the " Duke & Divine" restaurant about a 4 minute walk away is superb as well as the local shops that have everything you need. I grew up a couple of streets over so whenever I visit from Nova Scotia it feels like I'm try home again here. The daily room rate is very reasonable, the rooms are always very clean and the beds comfortable. Honestly, they provide everything you need to have a very comfortable night's sleep! Above all else, I'm always very happy to see Roy as he's the nicest owner/ manager out there and he goes above & beyond the duties that go with running such a beautiful motel. I stayed for 2 nights last week and when I booked in he asked how my dad was doing which was so kind and kind of shocked me that he remembered as he has so many who must stay. I was last in Beaconsfield last January when my dad was very sick and of course stayed at the Chalet Beaconsfield. I also had forgotten my old i-Pad charger back then too and when I showed up last Wednesday as I had a reservation, Roy immediately came out with my charger with my name on it. .I mean, who does that? There must be so many things that are left behind at motels / hotels but to show up over 8 months later and to be handed back something that you'd forgotten on a previous stay? Well, that shows character of the finest kind. Anyways, wonderful, wonderful place to stay and if you book, you won't regret it. In fact, you'll be happy because of all the money you've saved as so many hotels/ motels lately, post COVID, seem to be fleecing everyone trying to make up for lost revenue. Thank you so much guys for always making my stay pleasurable and look forward to seeing you again within the coming months!

We traveled from Toronto for our daughter's wedding. From the moment we got to Chalets Beaconsfield motel, we were treated like family by Roy and his wife. We had booked adjoining rooms - one with the kitchenette. Lovely sitting area right outside the room and the grounds were beautiful and so quiet. One block from the water for a leisurely walk and close to many restaurants and stores. Forgot my blow dryer and my speech. Roy printed it off at no charge from his computer and provided us with a blow dryer. We had all the privacy that we wanted but knew that they were always close by to help us out. Can't wait to go back again. Would rather stay in a home feeling motel than a fancy hotel any day.

Polite response to check in and booking, clean room, and has a kitchenette. The problem? A very, very loud heater/fan. First I couldn't fall asleep. Now I've been woken up more times than I can count. Since I'm awake, I downloaded a decibel measuring app. Every 15 minutes the fan turns on and the sound in the room goes from 32 decibels to 73. So much for a well-rested start to the work week.
