Smart Extended Stay

We didn’t like any of it. No room service at all the whole stay, filthy gross room, stinky sheets ( I made them replace them), during check in, we were told they will not give out extra towels, if we wanted Fresh ones every day to go buy some,moldy shower area. They put us in a housing project behind the main hotel. Very loud people, especially through the night,drug infested as well. We got to talk with two people, very much so drunk or high on something. They filled us in on a whole lot. When we first got there, we asked if we could get another room on the lower level, they said no, take the elevator. The elevator was over a year out of inspection , and totally filthy, and stunk, it stopped working before we left. We asked for that because we were up on the 3rd floor, and the stairs were too munch on my legs, I could hardly use them. They did the same thing to two elderly woman who could hardly walk as it is. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s like we were staying in the hood or something we really didn’t feel safe staying there.

Good value. Very little amenities. Front desk staff was friendly.

Amazing People!! I came to West Virginia from Florida after the last two hurricanes destroyed my home because my best friend said it was one of the most cost effective places to live. I stayed at Smart Extended Stay and honestly couldn’t have been happier. It is an older hotel but everything in West Virginia seems a little dated but The customer service is above par. They saw a need I had and without a word to me they created a solution for me. I am so grateful that I stayed here I truly believe God was moving through these people because I moved here without knowing a single soul and they went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a place to stay. I’m so grateful for the people that work here and own it. ❤️💪👌
