Excellent customer service. Kemi in particular has always been polite, helpful and great to deal with. Makes the stay as pleasant as possible. Couple with the hash browns and decent beds it’s the reason I always return. You need more vegetable options on the menu though

got there and had no bedding on my bed so after i asked about it they decide to leave all the sheets unmade on my bed excepting me to do it my self. when making the bed i found a huge yellow piss stain on there so i had to get another one which i also had to make my self. no apologies from the staff or anything. food was all microwaved and very noticeable. would not recommend staying here only nice aspect is the river view

This is a newer PI built on the banks of the river in central Bedford. Though it was dark when I looked out of the window, it was good to see a bit of a view. There are some restaurants nearby and a multi storey car park (£10.50/night) over the road. The room as ever was clean and had everything I needed. These days the tea and coffee provided in the room are of a cheaper and lesser quality but that’s a small gripe. Breakfast was not quite as good as I’ve known it. All the usual things were there but there were limited quantities, the fruit was still partly frozen and the hot buffet was not completely refreshed. Everything was perfectly adequate and I had a great night’s sleep but it was not quite as good as it could have been.

Don't let the depressing foyer put you off, once you're in, the hotel is great. Great location by the river, great staff, comfy rooms and a great breakfast! Not too far to walk from the station either (and along the river is lovely)! I enjoyed watching all the rowers from my bedroom window.

Beautiful location by the riverside, the room was ok. Terrible food, i had the chicken Makhanni Curry with rice, you can taste that this food had been microwaved, the meat was chewy and like rubber, I cannot believe that this place charges people to eat microwaved food. I asked my server who was also working in reception if the dish i had was a microwaved food, she advised that it was, well why dont you mention this to your customers before the order so that we could be giving the choice to eat elsewhere, mention it on your website.why are you charging people to eat here, when no prep or love was put into these dishes. Be honest, had I have known, i would have eaten at McDonald's or Burger King than the garbage I had to eat. No car park which is chargeable, but they do give you some kind of discount before you leave. Now If you like a place with bad, terrible microwaved food, apart from the fish along with broken lifts, shortage of staff but a beautiful location, then this is the place for you. Otherwise stay clear of it. Do not waste your hard earned cash in this place, if I could rate this place a zero i would.

The view and the ambience is top notch. The breakfast and helpfulness of the entire staff. The only regret is that our visit was short but we plan to go back
