During my recent stay, the front desk service provided by Zoe Zhang and Amber Ma left an incredibly deep impression on me. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, their warm and genuine smiles instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. Checking in was a breeze – they were professional and efficient, quickly resolving all my queries. They even thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions and dining spots. Throughout our interactions, they maintained a friendly demeanor, making for a truly wonderful start to my trip. Absolutely fantastic!

I visited Guantian Cemetery for the Qingming Festival to pay respects to my relatives. Since it's close to Yanqing, I chose the Marriott Hotel there. The room's facilities were decent, and it was clean. The shower had good hot water pressure. The staff was friendly and allowed me to request extra bottled water. Food deliveries could be brought directly to the room. The breakfast was alright, nothing particularly special, and the freshly made coffee wasn't hot, I'm not sure why. You can burn paper offerings at a nearby intersection to honor relatives, and there were community sanitation workers waiting to clean up the remnants afterwards. It's very convenient with Wanda Plaza right next door for dining and shopping. The Wanda underground parking even has charging stations. The hotel courtyard also has slow chargers, but there are too few of them, making it hard to find an available spot. There's a room deposit, which is refunded the day after check-out. Two nights for 899 was excellent value for money. I'll consider staying here again next Qingming. Traffic in Yanqing District is light, so driving is a pleasure. The road back to Beijing was also smooth. On my last day, I explored the Expo Resort. It was incredibly windy, and the park is huge; you really need to rent a car, otherwise, walking would be exhausting! Haha, this trip was very fulfilling!
