最滿意的是客房乾淨衞生，走廊打掃得一塵不染。交通方便，距離雲蒙山，黑龍潭都很近，附近有吃農家菜的。最驚喜的是山莊內部有古長城入口，目前允許攀登到將軍樓，可以觀水庫全景。

酒店的優勢在於外部環境，自帶的後山有好幾條登山道，還可以走到長城口，看到密雲水庫，景色非常棒。硬件上屬於老式招待所的配置，但也還算乾淨衞生，服務也還是不錯的。
