Good environment quiet location lots of places to eat within walking distance. Close to lots of attractions if you can walk you can walk to a lots of royal gardens

The stay was okay. It was a nice room, quite big for one person. The room was clean, also the bathroom. But I slept very bad because the bed was so hard! I know most beds in China are hard, but this was just a wooden plank. So I will not advise to stay here for more than two nights.

The location is great next to forbidden city
The bed is really hard- wood thin matrices- local style
Some people at the reception were rude some really friendly 🙄
The first room they gave me the ac heater didn't work by -13 celsius .... I had to argue to get a new room !!!!
You can wash your clothes there

The hotel is a bit old but it is decent (although our family room smelled a bit, we think due to the older carpets). Location is great though! Close to the Forbidden City and to the Hutong neighbourhood.

Very good location, super close to the Forbidden city exit and Jingshan park. Very friendly staff. The room wasn’t cleaned but towels etc were changed.

Great hotel close to Jingshan Park (＜ 5 minutes walk), BeiHai Park and Forbidden City. Simple but fine breakfast, staff is very friendly and helpful.
One little disappointing thing... we booked this hotel (okay, in winter) for the open terrace on the fifth floor: for birdwatching with a beautiful view to Jingshan Park. But.... the terrace is closed during the winter and we were not allowed to use it.
