Yitingzhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen)

1. Cleanliness: stink, stain and rusty bathroom. Cigarette smoke smell inside the room 2. Location: Excellent 3. Service: lousy, not 4-star rated standard. 4. Amenities: mobile room 8272 air corn unit is not working, not only have there no cold air ( hotel said no cold air until end of April) there's no air flowing out from the unit, so the room was basically NO AIR. After complaining to the hotel staff, they provided 2 MINI TOY like table fans, bit because it was still very stuffy, we asked for another 2 fans (see photo attached) - this shows that they must have many same complains before to have many of this toy fans available. I took time and efforts to write this review (which i can just not bother to do so, as I'm too disappointed) but I think we as the consumer should speak out the truth to get the hotel not to cheat on their rating and overrated standards that they claim in the review.

Very nice location, very friendly hotel service, the room is very nice and clean. Will go there again next time

Hotel staff are very helpful and some staff can speak English. A hotel Technician helped us with wifi and security safe even late at night, really appreciated it. Location is superb. On Qianmen street easy access from Zhushikou subway exit A(has escalators). The hotel can store our luggage’s before checkin and after checkout for free. Plenty of restaurants to try on Qianmen street including Michelin guide Peking duck. 😊

One of the best, if not THE BEST budget friendly hotel you can possibly find in Beijing! Really strategic location where night markets and metro stations are located around the corner.The hotel staffs were friendly and gave us a complimentary room upgrade with an awesome view!

Amazing,I had 4 nights at here and everything I got really perfect. The Hotel on Qianmen street walking, always vibrant in the day. Near by Tianmen, Forbidden,.. Staff so friendly. We can check-in and check-out soon. Room is clean, width, water and items are replaced daily. Wonderful.

Good hotel location is great even is walking distance is near to major ways and the place makes it ideal room a bit old but overall great place to stay

Firstly, the location of the place is not car accessible. We had to push our luggages for 15 mins before reaching to the hotel. However, the hotel is right smack in the centre of Qianmen, which makes other traveling easier! Secondly, we were given an "upgrade" to the room from B1 to L2. But we were greeted with a strong mouldy smell with stale air. When we turn on the aircon, only hot air is coming out (perhaps is because of winter) but we were perspiring in the room while wearing tshirt with shorts. On the second day we feedback to the counter and counter told us to turn on the air ventilation and off the aircon. When my husband told them if we can change the room, they merely gave us another room key and ask us to see it ourselves if the condition is ok. But we were greeted with another strong mouldy room. So we decided to continue to stay in our current room since the second room ordour was almost unbearable. (I stood in the room for less than 5 seconds and couldn't breathe) We searched online and found the interior design on the hotel was nice and interesting.but after reaching there we realised that the lobby with nice furniture and old school design was only a display which we cannot go in to sit. Was quite disappointed in this. As this was the main reason why we chosen this hotel. During housekeeping, there was no refilling of bottled water. Had to ask for it. And bed was not arranged well, floor was not swept (we had leftover crumbs on the floor). Toilet flooded on 3rd day. In addition, we left 2 portable chargers in the room during check out. And we were in the hotel lobby for at least 1.5 hours but no one called us to inform us about the chargers. Although it is our fault for leaving it in the room, but the housekeeping should also inform the customer service about the chargers found on the bed. All in all, it was quite an unpleasant time there and we wouldn't go back to the same place again.
