Manxin Mansion Beijing Qianmen Courtyard

It was great, my child loved it, especially the smart toilet. My little one said it was a pleasant surprise.

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing. Not only do I get to experience the beauty of a traditional courtyard home and the hutongs, but it also feels like a warm home away from home. The service is incredibly attentive and touching, making you feel truly welcomed. Whenever I came back from sightseeing, the hotel staff greeted me with smiles, and there was always cooling tea and snacks waiting at the entrance. Breakfast is also fantastic! My Beijing trip ended today, and the hotel even thoughtfully gave me a farewell gift. Manxin Courtyard made my Beijing experience so much richer – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!

Breakfast: I really liked the breakfast; everything was to my taste. Service: The service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. We received fruit upon check-in and a lovely gift upon check-out: two eye masks and a nut gift box, which was a very nice touch. Room: The room was decent, and the accompanying Pu'er tea was fantastic. We stayed on the second floor, but I'd love to try a first-floor courtyard room next time. Afternoon Tea: The bayberry and lychee drink was especially delicious, as was the plum tea. It was also a great spot for photos. Exploring the courtyard was a pleasant experience. Transportation: Qianmen Street and Dashilar are right nearby, offering plenty of convenient food options. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, and getting around by bike is very easy.

Overall: Not bad, would recommend. Environment: Quiet despite being in a bustling area, elegant surroundings. Service: Prompt responses. They provide everything for family-friendly stays, such as travel photography services, children's slippers, and toothbrushes. They even gave us a souvenir upon checkout, which was a thoughtful touch.

This hotel is really unique! I was put on the second floor, and the courtyards are perfect for photos. There are also tons of great local eateries nearby. The service was super friendly and enthusiastic, and it's not too far from the subway station either.

This used to be Li Lianying's shop, now beautifully restored to its original glory. It gave me a deeper understanding of traditional courtyards (Siheyuan). The main house and side rooms perfectly embody the elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly friendly and patient with our kids. It was a wonderful experience exploring Old Beijing with the family, and the location is fantastic.

A truly satisfying stay! Upon arrival, the friendly gentleman with glasses at the front desk warmly welcomed us and offered snacks and tea. We booked this hotel specifically for our child to experience a Beijing courtyard house, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The room had a charming, antique feel with a strong courtyard vibe, and the courtyard itself was very peaceful. The air conditioning was perfectly cool, and the bedding and hygiene were excellent – no hair or stains whatsoever. When we checked out, Deng from the front desk thoughtfully gave our child a private explanation of the courtyard's history, which they had missed earlier, and even gave us a souvenir. Zhang also kindly helped us with our luggage right to the door.

This is the largest suite in the hotel, and it's always fully booked. I only managed to snag it by pure luck! The overall facilities are very high-end, and the room layout has so many thoughtful touches. My child felt like they were on an adventure, constantly discovering little surprises. We also tried the cloisonné enamel activity, which my child thoroughly enjoyed.

Extremely satisfied! The front desk service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; they even helped us with our luggage all the way to the intersection. The snacks and drinks available right outside the hotel were also plentiful, so we didn't really need to go out of our way to find Beijing's specialty foods. I originally wanted to book the Mandarin Oriental, but they didn't have enough rooms and it was quite expensive. After staying here, I feel it's a perfectly viable alternative to the Mandarin. Qianmen Street is right outside the entrance, with all sorts of century-old shops practically at your doorstep. The location is truly excellent. While the rooms aren't particularly luxurious, the Courtyard-style (Siheyuan) decor is spot-on, giving a strong sense of old Beijing. There was a minor incident where a school group staying at the hotel for the flag-raising ceremony got a bit excited early in the morning and ran around the hotel. However, the hotel staff apologized sincerely and proactively offered a breakfast discount, handling it very well. Plus, you can wear ancient costumes for free photos, which was a fantastic experience! If you don't take too many, there's no extra charge at all. Overall, this stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the hotel!
