This waterfront cottage has use of the deep ocean water private dock for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Kayak or paddleboard into town or walk/bike into town along the waterfront trail right from your back door. Full custom kitchen, two decks. spectacular private view. Sunsets are incredible from the back deck. Loved the privacy and location of this house. It was perfect for us and our son who stayed with us for several days. The outdoor space was enjoyable for dining and lawn games. Loved early morning walks on the Rail Path and sunny afternoons on the dock. Only a short walk to downtown Belfast for shopping and eating. Enjoyed a day trip to Fort Knox and the Bridge tower and to Camden.

What a wonderful setting and place, just a little walk through a summer meadow from the rail trail and river, and a short walk or bike ride into Belfast. Jon's cottage (he built it!) is perfect - airy, comfortable and well equipped. We saw multiple eagles, a variety of songbirds, a loon and more. A perfect getaway any time of the year, and a lovely base to take in all the beauty of Maine.

Cozy waterfront cottage in classic Maine
Great cozy cottage, right on the Belfast railtrail.You can have an easy walk into town or out to the headwaters of the river. Nice Spot on the River

Thanksgiving getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had all we needed and the radiant heat in the floor was a plus!

Could not have asked for anything better
Perfect for our anniversary trip. We loved walking into town on the rail trail under the fall leaves. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen was the most well stocked out any rental we have ever stayed in. Had literally everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!
