From the moment I arrived at Hotel Mirabeau, I knew I had found something special. I was looking for a place that felt truly authentic, somewhere that captured the heart of Italy and this hotel ticked every box and more. Flavio and Flora, the incredible hosts and owners, made my stay unforgettable. They are the heart and soul of the hotel. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they made me feel not like a guest, but like family. It wasn’t just hospitality it was heartfelt care in every detail. They couldn’t have done more to ensure I was comfortable and happy. The hotel itself is full of charm, perched perfectly with breathtaking views over Lake Como. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a painting. The food was delicious authentic Italian dishes paired with fantastic wine and the whole experience was relaxed, warm, and deeply personal. If you’re looking for a true home away from home in Lake Como, with unbeatable views, sensational food, and the most special hosts you’ll ever meet Hotel Mirabeau is it. I can’t wait to return. If you stay here you will need a car! Busses are very infrequent and there isn’t anything much around shop wise. We got stuck in Asso and the lady behind the desk said she would pick us up for 70€ so we walked. Room was small and a bit dated. The most stressful break we have ever had.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I must unfortunately make an exception. I stayed at this hotel for one night and was not satisfied. I paid a very high price for a room furnished with dated furniture and missing some pieces. Furthermore, both bedside lamps were not working. On top of all this, I was awakened in the middle of the night by a terrible noise caused by the curtain frame coming off the ceiling and falling. This was quite worrying, given that when I asked for an explanation, the answer was that the curtains had only been fixed the day before. Beyond the potential risk, what surprised me was the price paid for the room, which was out of line with the services offered.

I stopped for lunch and was positively impressed by the view that to say beautiful is an understatement because the view of the lake is enchanting. I ordered a second course: roast beef with vegetables, very good and plentiful. Moderate price and friendly staff.

Structure with excellent location with breathtaking views of Lake Como. Excellent cuisine (both owners are passionate about cooking) with fresh ingredients, bought at the market every day. Fantastic breakfast with lots of biscuits, brioches, croissants, cakes, etc., made in case. Beautiful garden with ample parking, swimming pool with ample space for deckchairs and sunbathing. Excellent and very kind service. Perfect structure for families, as children are welcomed and pampered as if they were the owners' children. Highly recommended.
