Nice hotel that presents well. It's not in a "bad" part of town, per se, but it also felt a little more industrial around it than expected. Doesn't have a distinct "hotel smell" that's usually tied to chlorine or cleaners. Amenities were nice and the room was clean. Someone had pooped on the side of the pool when we had arrived, although that wasn't any fault of the hotel. It was promptly closed for the night and reopened the next morning. Staff was friendly and we can't say there were any real snags. It was a little strange that we booked a room with a king bed and pull-out sofa bed for 4 people, yet upon arriving to the room, there wasn't any linen or pillows for the pull-out sofa. We had to ask for linen, and it was promptly delivered to our room, it just seemed off that we booked the room clearly for 4 people and didn't have the linen for it.

Overall, it is a good hotel. One thing they can do better is to out a sign on their EV charging station parking to be reserved for EV only. A lot of the time there were non-EV parked there blocking the charging station.

Room was big, nice and clean. Within walking distance to Waffle House and liquor stores to grab chips and sodas. It was quiet and the staff was nice. They have a trolley that can take you downtown which is pretty convenient. The breakfast bar was nice with several options. The only thing I will say is it's noted as being a mile from Heritage Bank but it's not a walking mile. Oh, and don't doordash Popeye's. Order wrong, chicken was burnt. Complete garbage.

We found a used ketchup packet under the bench and a used bottle lid between the bed and night stand. We had to ask for towels for the pool. They should have them stocked on the weekend. There was 16 people at one time in the pool and no towels. Lots of breakfast to choose from. Good location right off the highway. We stay here once a year for an event we go to. Glad I had a gift card.
