We stayed at the hotel because we had a sporting activity at Durham University. This is not an expensive hotel but had everything we needed. The food was good quality and breakfast was lovely. The thing that we liked the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were.

Amazing hotel. Staff were wonderful; friendly, caring and genuine. Hotel was clean, and the restaurant next door served a fantastic breakfast. It's well located for the motorway. Only downside is a lack of decaf tea, but appreciate this is a franchise issue.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time. The room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and lived upto expectation. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good value and there was plenty of choice.

As I can't mange the stairs and there is no lift, I phoned prior to my arrival to request a ground floor room. On arrival I was allocated a first floor room. Makes me very cross as I had specifically requested a ground floor room. Lovely lady on reception sorted it for me though.

Whilst the hotel was a fairly average Premier In, it was the staff that made our stay that bit better. Every single member of staff that we dealt with or came into contact with were bubbly, happy and had big smiles. Very rare this and very welcomed. Thanks all 😀👍

Second stay at this hotel and first since the pandemic. Cannot fault anything. Room spotless and staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to Chris who somehow understood my garbled phone explanation of the room we stayed in previously and made sure we had that room again. Look forward to returning.

Average for a premier inn stayed in better but stayed in worse -- the staff was pleasant enough room was tidy & clean. The only thing as i could say which let it down was the food which is a Beefeater. As we entered we had to wait and to be honest i thought it was a bit to long but i gave them the benefit of the doubt as it could of been busy. we was eventually seated and again had to wait far to long .. and what topped it of for me when we was first seated i asked for a glass of water - no water arrived. Then our food arrived which we thought was crap the fish was more or less all batter and the chips well i never ate them. so i asked another member of staff if i could have a glass of water which again it never arrived. so after this i would go to the bar and ask for a glass of water myself and was given one so to be fair to the premier inn its not there fault --- its a Beefeater
