Hotel Avenida

This hotel is lovely in ideal location,rooms are spotless. They get cleaned daily to good standards. Bed very comfortable,bathroom great bath n shower. The only thing that truly lets this hotel down is the food it’s dire n I mean dire sorry but honest opinion. The air conditioning in room is waste off electricity no point having on. Can’t imagine how hot be in room in summer months. That is only 2 things could find wrong but 2 main things I think! Sorry cause I deffo would off come back here just the main things don’t work right..

We stayed in hotel 31st of September requested a balcony view was great.The room could have done with a deep clean.we decided to book gain 5 weeks later and requested the same room with the balcony view.was told yes that's fine this was the only reason we went back because of the balcony view.we arrived and told there's was no balcony rooms available and nothing they could do very dismissive and ignorant. We were given a room with the window facing a wall and another window so dark we couldn't see up to the sky to see what the weather was like.we also paid nearly double the price.the room was so dark and dingy we tried to stay out as long as possible.totally ruined the whole holiday no help from staff.just a shrug of the shoulders and tough move on.They were all for the Spanish making sure they got what they wanted.so if you're booking a room make sure you get a balcony.

The avienda was perfect for us , we had the bed and breakfast option but admittedly didn’t have breakfast whilst there as we slept in too late and missed it ! However this was no real issue whatsoever , we always got a sunbed on the roof terrace and found the pool to be nice and cooling ! Drinks from the hotel bar were also quite cheap and nicely made ! The room was clean and the bed comfy , all the staff we met and spoke with were friendly and kind , overall a good stay here and would be happy to come back , we walked to the new town and back each night and the hotel was great for what we needed and near everything ! Thanks all !

I stayed at the Avenida between the 26th and 30th of August for a short break with friends, and unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a disappointing experience. The food was the biggest letdown. The options were very limited, and the quality was poor. Thankfully, I enjoy salad, otherwise I would have struggled to eat much at all. The dining room itself was far too small for the number of guests, which meant if you didn’t get there early, you’d end up queuing and waiting for a table. On top of that, communication was difficult as most of the waiting staff spoke very little English. While I fully understand I was in Spain and don’t expect fluent English everywhere, the lack of understanding often caused unnecessary frustration. The lifts were another issue. There are only two, both very old and outdated. They are extremely small, fitting just three people at a time, and painfully slow. If you have any mobility issues, these would be a real problem. The pool area was decent, and the rooftop bar could have been a nice touch. However, the experience was spoiled by a bartender (Raul) who had a very unpleasant attitude. I witnessed him verbally attack a guest for leaving a small amount of drink in their glass, threatening not to serve them again—even though they were on an all-inclusive package. Totally unprofessional. On the positive side, I will say the hotel itself was kept clean, and I had no complaints regarding housekeeping. Overall though, the negatives far outweighed the positives, and I left feeling disappointed with my stay.

A very good hotel in a great location. Beach 3 or 4 minute walk and shops etc right outside. Located on a pedestrian street so it is a short walk from the nearest drop off point, but not far. Although on a busy street we never heard a noise from outside at night. Rooms are a good size with a decent balcony, although a little tired and well used. Shower is strong with plenty of hot water. Modern TV and electric safe, but could do with a few more electric sockets. Only 2 small lifts which can be hard to get during the busy times. Plenty of staff on hand all day and during meal times they are very attentive and helpful. Evening entertainment is not something I’d rush back to see, but each to their own. The bar bar is well stocked although it does not have Gluten Free beer so had to end up with cider. I would happily stay here again.

Had a really nice time as the hotel is 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and shops , everything you need is on your doorstep! Old town is great lots of shops and bars and restaurants. The hotel itself breakfast and dinner is good with different selections sometimes repetitive but fresh and tasty. The dinner area is a bit small and can get busy at breakfast. The bar area is nice and has good air-con. The reception staff are friendly and the cleaners are very good also. I would return as the location is perfect, we were a bit confused as we landed late but luckily we followed a nice lady from the drop off point which is by a bridge to the hotel. There is a pool bar inside and a pool with a small jacuzzi.
