Having no door to the toilet in a single room and no hot water in the shower in the morning is truly awful.

Absolute dump. From the outside looks like an abandoned hotel closed in the 80s, inside pretty similar. Stinks. Rooms are shabby beyond belief. Bed sheets stained. No aircon. Ambiance of a russian hourly rate hotel. Dreadful. Run away and find somewhere else, please.

This is a basic, yet decent, clean, and well-maintained hotel. Its location is excellent, being close to the metro and the city center. It's a pleasant 10-minute walk to Potsdamer Platz, 15 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate, and 20 minutes to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. I had read some very negative reviews online, but I found them to be completely unfounded. The hotel clearly makes an effort to paint the rooms and keep them in good condition. While it's definitely not a 5-star establishment, the value for money is excellent. As is common with most hotels in Berlin, there's no air conditioning, and the heat was quite noticeable during my stay at this time of year. Overall, I found the hotel to be perfectly satisfactory.

I stayed at this hotel on a school trip and I strongly advise against it. The rooms had a terrible smell, and the bathroom was no better. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, with dust, hair, and body hair covering everything. The bed was absolutely filthy, covered in ***** hair, other hair, and yellow and brown stains. The bathroom towels were no exception. In the (filthy) bathroom, I found a dirty rag left on the sink, and a dirty sock in the bed. What's more, my classmates reported finding sanitary pads, both empty and partially-full bottles, cotton swabs, and other debris in their rooms. My room was a triple, but it only had 2 power outlets. To make matters worse, some quadruple rooms also only had two outlets. The room keys could open multiple doors, which meant it was unsafe to leave anything valuable in the rooms. I didn't even dare to eat breakfast, but my classmates found hair in their food, and some even got sick. Furthermore, the hotel is located in a sketchy neighborhood, right next to a strip club.

For the price, one night was perfectly fine; I've stayed in much worse hotels for the same price, or even more. It's also worth mentioning that the surroundings are very nice, and it's not far from the Brandenburg Gate :)

I was on vacation in Berlin for a week and can say that overall the hotel isn't bad. It's convenient that the subway is nearby, and you can get to the city center quickly. It's adequate for the price. If you're on a tight budget but need to stay in Berlin for a week, this hotel is suitable, but unfortunately, there's no breakfast included.

The hotel does not match the description at all. The receptionist was annoyed and unfriendly. When asked about breakfast, all he said was to point to the other street where there is a bakery. The cleanliness of the corridors and rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Noise at night from the club and the strip bar right next door. Police and ambulances were deployed several times during the night in and outside the hotel until the next day. The pool of blood next to the elevator at 10am (from a fight during the night) was the most disgusting thing I could have imagined.
