This hotel is super convenient to go anywhere. Tramp/busses are nearby the hotel. One thing is that the room is quite small but the bathroom is big. Not enough space to put my luggage and i had to put them in the bathroom instead. They have vintage elevator too!

The service is first-class, friendly and helpful, but the noise of the trams in the surrounding environment is quite noisy, and the old elevators are a little thinner, and it is a bit troublesome to use.

The breakfast menu is a bit unpopular. There was no ham. Founded in 1908, there is an elevator that opens and closes the door manually, which I have only seen in movies, and I got on it with excitement. The interior has been refurbished and feels new. However, people who are concerned about noise should consider this because streetcars pass frequently. I didn't mind the noise because I was tired from the day after day.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel when visitng Bern on university business. The location is excellent - just a block or so from the train staton and an easy walk to the old town.
The staff here are the best! - very helpful with tips, reservations, they always address you by your name.
The rooms are small and a bit spartan but clean and very affordable by Swiss standards. The street can be a bit noisy at times. The breakfast is pretty sp**** and my experience of dinner in the restaurant was poor, but there are plenty of other good restaurants in town.
If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel with a great location and wonderful staff - I recommend this one.
