My hot tip is to visit off peak and you will have an amazing time. Unfortunately most of our trip was on Easter holiday in the new 3 bedroom apartments. The apartment itself inside was great. Had a split system which is great because the area’s weather can be extreme hot or cold during the year but what really spoilt our holiday there and I will choose alternate accomodation over next holiday in the Riverland is that the apartments only provide 2 car spots per apartment. Most people while we were there had brought two cars as well as their boats and jet skis so there wasn’t enough room and therefore every evening without fail after eating out we would find cars and boats in our car spots which was really draining. Another thing was we were in the downstairs apartment and the one above us had a lot of people in and the constant noise during the day as well as during the night of banging and chairs scraping on the balcony as well as inside - we were happy to leave. Also I couldn’t believe you had to pay $35 for 2 adults and 3 kids family pass for a 9 hole mini golf either or $12 an adult. First caravan park I have known that makes you pay. Bottom line - I personally will only consider out of school holidays as it was unpleasantly chocoblock at Easter.

Park is amazing and would have gotten 5 stars if I hadn’t seen the most disgusting display I’ve ever seen and I work for major 4wd drive accessories place in Adelaide so I’ve heard a hell of a lot of horror stories but this takes the cake they were serving fish and chips down buy the water and people had been waiting 1 hour or more in rain and cold now this didn’t bother everyone as we were all happy and in the Easter spirit until we saw a family simply walk up to the head of the line grab there order and leave with no wait as apparently they knew the owners !!!! Disgusting and it will be mentioned to every retired couple who walk in our shop as this disgusting behaviour should not be allowed !!

Stayed with friends in caravans on powered site and found the Berri Riverside Holiday Park great as it has so much to see. It is located across the road from the River Murray. The caravan park has 2 lovely pools for various levels of ages and tney are immaculate. There are a couple of amenities plus a great camp kitchen. Plenty of clothes lines which is handy as some places haven't many as is a must for catching up on washing. They also have a 9 hole golf putt game. They also have cabins for hire as nearly forgot to mention this. Definitely recommend staying here and will be back again in the future.

This park is very family friendly. We had a fun night at the pizza place. The pool was large and very clean. It has an amazing mini golf course. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and the beds where comfortable and the bedding was very clean. Overall we had a fun stay.

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and loved it. This park is exceptional out of all the ones we have stayed in. It was very clean and well planned and everything worked. The setting is lovely with spacious sites near the river (and some overlooking the river) and it has many thoughtful inclusions, such as the $5 woodfired oven pizzas on Saturday night (you are invited to byo to add to the tomato topping), the cafe which has scones and cream, the minigolf course and so on.

Stayed a week. Cabin with en-suite was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I couldn't get my DVD to play in the TV and someone was down within 10 minutes to help. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Pizza night was a hit with the group I was with. Too cold for the pool but it looked very clean. Saw some young children enjoying the jumping bag and play area. Didn't use the mini-golf as we were there to enjoy the lovely walk in the area.

Fantastic place to stay Cabin with onsuite was clean and had everything I required for a comfortable week-long stay Recommend the twilight cruise and dinner hosted by the park Chef was great food delicious Berri hotel excellent and everyone was so friendly and accomodating Plenty of hiking trails locally and within 20 km

We arrived in the middle of January school holidays with an excited 5 year old. I asked about the activities for kids and was told "there isn't any, go to the local library instead". Umm ok. Then i asked about the movie nights which they have on the map and advertised on the website and was told "no were not doing them either". They should not advertise this! This was extremely disappointing as the reason for our stay was to keep our child entertained during school holidays. They have one pathetic playground that a 2 year old would be bored by in less than 5 minutes. I did not see any child playing on it the whole time. Mini Golf is a complete rip off and not affordable for the average family - very disappointing. Thank goodness for the pool otherwise we would have left early - it was only nice because it was 40 degrees while we were there! Then it got even worse when we checked out, our en-suite site had terrible hot water so when i checked out i mentioned this to them and was told "well this is YOUR FAULT as you didn't tell us - GOODBYE". I was in complete shock by the utter rudeness of the horrible old lady who manages this place, she really needs to learn how to take constructive feedback. They do not like kids at this place, just don't bother and save yourself from the worst customer service ever and a manager who will treat your terribly.
