What a treasure! Firstly the host was lovely and had some wonderful information about the house and surrounding restaurants and activities. The location is stunning! Comfy bed and pillows, spotlessly clean bathroom and room, breakfast was delicious and the best we have had in 6 weeks of travel. It's made to order so freshly cooked and there are plenty of options also there's fruit, juice, yoghurt and cereals. We walked to a fabulous restaurant only 100m away. Quiet at night for a perfect uninterupted sleep! Thankyou Sean and Marianne for a wonderful stay!

A lovely place set near Snowdonia. Smallish town close by (walking distance) that has good places to eat and drink. Glyntwrog House itself is a comfy place to stay. Good value, excellent and cosy rooms that really feels like a home away from home. A yummy breakfast that sets you up nicely for the day. Easy to find and good parking. Super wifi that is key in an area that challenges reception on your phone. But above all the host Sean. Full of help and advise for any traveller seeking adventure in the area or simply someone who is just a kind and funny guy that welcomes you to their establishment. He clearly is well respected in the area due to the fact he knows all the people close by and gives good advice on what to do, where to go along with places to eat and drink. Absolutely superb! Next time in the area I know where I already will be staying!!

I stayed here last weekend for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. Glyntwrog House is in a great location at Betws as it seems to be the only place slightly raised overlooking the river river and town yet only an 8 minute pavement walk into Betwys centre with all of its shops, restaurants and pubs. You will see it as you drive2 into Betwys as it looks like a castle. We had lots of walking gear and bags so it was critical to find somewhere with its own car parking as well. Its funny but the previous week I had stayed at the Dorchester in London and apart from a minibar our unbelievably spotless room with a superking bed at Glyntwrog house had everything the London hotel had and of course a much better stunning view. Big Georgian windows which we both love. Breakfast was amazing. The owners are great fun and know all the places go and the walking trails. The overall experience was 10 out of 10 plus. I must say, I have not been up to Bewts-y-Coed for 20 years. All the pubs and restaurants were great and super friendly. I am gathering up a few friends to go back after Easter and we are booking here again as it ticks all the boxes for us.

Stayed two nights, had a lovely warm welcome from Sean who gave us some great tips and was very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was excellent with great choices, my husband enjoyed the locally sourced full English whilst I had muesli, yougurt and a lovely little fruit pot prepared by maryann, the sourdough toast was very moorish!! Our room was at the front and was warm, cosy and lovely and clean. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking in again when we’re in the area.🙂

We've just returned from a weekend at Glyntwrog House, Betws y Coed. It was a wonderful weekend celebrating a special birthday. It's quite local for us, but we're so glad we chose Glyntwrog House for our weekend away. From the moment we arrived, Sean made us feel so welcome. He is a wonderful host, and Glyntwrog House is a beautiful property. The bedroom we stayed in was so spacious, and had the most wonderful views across the valley. The quality of products used both in the bedroom/bathroom, and the excellent food at breakfast is outstanding. If you're pondering whether to stay here or not, stop pondering and just book Glyntwrog House. Thank you Sean for making our weekend special.

We had spent a week camping and for my birthday booked a night here and I am so glad we did. The owner was friendly and knowledgable. The room was clean and the shower powerful and hot! Breakfast was great and there was a large range. We took the owners recommendation for dinner and I’ll be leaving a good review there too! We then went on a walk recommended by the owner and that was also fab. Overall I 100% recommend this place. Thank you! Daisy & Artur

We can’t say enough about how perfect this place is. Sean and Mary-Ann are exceptional hosts and such lovely people. The guest house is picture perfect and our room had everything you need, including special welsh tea and biscuits! The views from our top floor room were breathtaking. It is a short walk into town and there is a lovely pub just a short stroll away with excellent meals. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were accompanied by a robin in the bird feeder outside the beautiful bay window. Our only problem was that we didn’t stay for a week. We had a wonderful visit. There is so much to see and do in the Betws-y-coed. A top notch place to stay, highly recommend. There are a few stairs, however we packed a small overnight bag for our stay, as suggested by Sean. The red carpet makes the stairs worth it!

What a beautiful , cosy find. We stayed early October and everything had been thought of, including earplugs for noisy sleepers! We were greeted by the host, Sean who made us feel so welcome, felt like we were staying in a home rather than a B&B. The rooms were warm and clean, with all facilities and lovely scented handwash/shower gel etc. Sean asked what breakfast we would like which was ready after a bowl of fresh fruit salad and unlimited Welsh coffee, perfect! Would definitely stay there again with family or friends and highly recommended to all of you! Thankyou for a wonderful stay.
