1. This was the worst hotel experience of my life 2. I have traveled to forty or fifty countries and written countless travel articles, and I have never had such a bad experience. 3. After moving and flying for twelve hours, I didn’t expect that I still couldn’t sleep all night. 4. I have mysophobia. It is very dirty and has an unpleasant smell. 5. No air conditioning at 40 degrees Celsius 6. She gave me a note and deducted 250 US dollars and said it would be refunded within seven days. She didn’t know when the refund would be made. 7. I was carrying three big suitcases, but he was the stairs!

Stayed in August. The bath and toilet were especially old in an old hotel. There is no air conditioner, but unlike Japan, it was not as tight as I thought. There is no hair dryer, so women should bring their own. We think whether it is appropriate when we think about Beverly Hills because location is very good. If you check out early in the morning, please contact us in advance. No one seemed to be there before 9:00. The lady at the reception was friendly and the service was good.

Checked in about 2 on a Thursday afternoon it's older building but very cute great location. My issue was with the lil girl checking me in she was on her phone the whole time not friendly very rude and very rushed she seemed as if she didn't wanna be there 😒. Came down to ask if there was wifi code and she said very rudly didn't I give you the code so I just walked off. Left had a bite to eat came back there was another lady at the front desk very nice always had a smile and said hi or by when I was coming or going very nice lady sorry can't Remember if it was Alisha or Ashley but who ever she always had a smile on her face. I had a room with my own bathroom which was great I will come back again when in Beverly hills for work but I will check in later next time to avoid the morning girl..

Do not go here. It may be cheap financially but that’s exactly what you’re going to get. It’s so cheap it’s unsafe and unsanitary. There were stains on our pillows and sheets, odors leaking from the toilet bowl cover that didn’t fit, numerous missing lights, rust in the tub and on the light switch which could lead to infection and electrocution, broken furniture, and so on. On top of all this, the hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. When asked to speak with a manager, there was “never” one available which seemed like an easy out for how often I’m sure they get these complaints. Please if you are going to Beverly Hills, actually experience the beauty of it and stay somewhere else.

I've stayed here before and had a really positive experience. But this time around my experience has been really surprising. I got a room with an air conditioner, which I've really needed because it's been very hot and I've had to work from my room a number of days. But the air conditioner does not work; it blows out warm air, in fact. I've spoken to the staff three times about this, each time in a very polite way. Hotel del Flores is not fancy, and I appreciate that about it. But I was promised an air conditioner, and this one is not working. The response I've gotten is "The room is what it is." No attempt to fix the air conditioner or move me. Just, "tough." One of the clerks has also been really belligerent. She kind of yells at me for bringing it up. I take her reaction to mean she's frustrated too, and probably I'm not the first person she's had to deal with who's mentioning this. But it has not felt great to have her take that out on me. I was told the only thing I could do is email the info address with my concerns. I've done so now, and I'm hoping they'll refund some of my money. We'll see how it goes. Again, this hotel has a great location, it's very affordable, and the last time I was here the atmosphere was really wonderful. I don't know what's going on right now, but it's definitely worrisome. Something to be aware of.

I stayed long-term at HDF for 16 weeks from 5-2 - 8/22/2022. I had to check out due to financial issues and the hotel extended a 90-day storage courtesy for my boxes, as I have been in a lengthy transition. When I picked up my items on Day 87 on 10/30/2022 (Sunday), I wasn't too surprised to see several of my luxury items stolen (5 bags, 2 wallets, 2 sunglasses, and even a pair of desk scissors). I was falsely informed by Kathy, the weekend front desk clerk, on 10/22 (Saturday) that there were cameras where my boxes were stored and that nobody was going through them. When I discovered my items were stolen upon pick-up, her guilty body language (several long pauses and avoiding eye contact) was a dead giveaway that she was involved with Gloria, the Central American housekeeper who works on Sundays with her two daughters. It was clear that the theft occurred on a Sunday when both of them were working together, as I know the Saturday housekeeper was not involved and had always been suspicious about Gloria. Most likely the stealing occurred between 10 AM-4 PM on 8/28, as it was the earliest Sunday after my checkout the previous Monday on 8/22 and the hours when both Kathy and Gloria were working. There is no physical evidence, but it is evident that these two thieves were the culprits. After filing a report with the Beverly Hills Police, I spoke with Kathy to clarify the matter about the cameras and she immediately got defensive, knowing she had changed her story about the cameras. I shot back that I know it was her and Gloria who stole my items and she freaked out before hanging up on me. With the stolen items valued at over $6,000 total, this crime is classified as a felony due to it exceeding $5,000 in stolen property. Of course, the hotel maintains that it is not their responsibility that an unjust theft occurred. I was even told by the evening front desk clerk that "nobody here steals." Well, it is a fact that two thieves work at this property and have absolutely no qualms about stealing from their guests.

As a woman travelling alone my main concern is safety at night. This hotel has old worn furniture, dirty carpets, non working TV's and rusted bath tubs, but honestly I am never in so I don't really care as the position was favorable for my business trip. SAFETY IS A BIG CONCERN in this hotel. ALL the staff leaves at 8 pm, leaving the hotel completely unguarded all night. In addition, the front door does not lock by itself, the client needs to turn around and manually close it, well you know how many people don't do it right ? This morning I got up for my meeting and there was a homeless man in the lobby. During the night someone tried to violently open my door, I yelled at them and luckily they left. Now there is yelling in the hallway, people knocking on doors and running in the hallway. It should not be allowed that people run a hotel like this. You purchase a room with the expectation of safety, which here is not guaranteed, If you are a woman travelling alone stay away from this place.
