The front desk service attitude was terrible, impatient and perfunctory (this was felt on the first day of check-in). We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before someone took us to the room before we checked in. The room was very small and there was nothing outside the window. The scenery is remarkable.
We accidentally broke our mobile phone while walking up the stairs because the cleaning staff did not put any signs when cleaning the stairs with soapy water. The stairs are high steps like those in European-style buildings, and the tiles are very slippery. In addition to the smashed mobile phone and skin trauma, I tried to negotiate with the hotel for half a month but still received no compensation. We tried to safeguard our rights and get in touch with the manager from the first day we stayed at the hotel, but the front desk kept delaying and delayed. The hotel's WhatsApp phone couldn't be reached, and no manager took the initiative to contact us. In the end, our compensation was 20% off our next stay😅I want to ask who will come again. I advise all foreigners not to stay at this kind of hotel that doesn't care if something goes wrong. Not treated equally.
Moreover, this hotel is located on a large slope. It is relatively close to Independence Street and has to climb up and down to get to the old city. The interior space of the hotel is small, the lights are dim, the bathroom leaks, and we even charged 1,000 lire for room service with two lunch boxes (picture 2). You can definitely go to a better hotel at the same price.

Convenient location of the hotel, about 3 minutes to the metro, wonderful staff at the reception!!! good room cleaning.
Of the minuses: the smell of sewage appeared in the toilet (at night), it was not felt during the day, it was unpleasant to enter the toilet room in the morning. The bed for two is small, both in length and width, the breakfast room needs renovation

I highly recommend this hotel . Thanks to the Meroddi Hotel , they made our trip memorable. First, receptionist men kindly Mr Ufuk suggested us to change our room into a bigger room free of charge. The clean service lady Mrs Shenai perfectly clean the room each day, we stayed there for 8 nights without any problem. Also, the internet was so great . About the stuff I should say that, they are so expert, friendly always behaved respectfully and warm. Specially miss Aysude, mr Umit and Asaf if you want something they provided as soon as possible. In our plan breakfast was included, that was so delicious, fresh with great options each day differently. The last night miss Aysude on behalf of the guests elections groups of the hotel had a special surprise for us she provided a nice meal for us that made them us so happy and great.

DONT GO THERE, they cancelled the reservation when we arrived at MIDNIGHT and didn’t let us in I booked this hotel on booking for 3 persons, one of our friend had an emergency and couldn’t travel with us , we contacted them they said its okay we will decrease the amount to 2 persons When we arrived at MIDNIGHT They said we had to increase the rate per night but we will deduct 50 euros for you after increasing the rate from 60 per night to 90 per night And in booking the total was 100 euros less if we will reserve it again I told him I am not happy and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone …afterwards they cancelled the reservation and said we can’t let you in and change the availability on booking to sold out

The hotel is nice, has an excellent location very close to Galata Tower and to İstiklal Avenue. Good rooms with AC, good beds and decent turkish breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall good value for your money.
