This hotel is one of the best resort hotels in Chitwan. The price is reasonable in China, but expensive in Nepal. The hotel is recommended to go in summer because it is too cold in winter, the indoor air conditioning does not work, and there is no air conditioning in the bathroom. The environment is really good and the restaurant is also OK. The outdoor activities arranged by the hotel are expensive, and there is no other choice when you come.

The hotel is quite small, but very unique!

The best part about this resort is its proximity to the community forest which means it's teeming with bird sounds, and one can see animals like deer from just outside the restaurant area. It makes up for not getting the view of Rapti river, which other resorts nearby do. Visitors in those resorts are separated from forests by the river. The property itself has lots of palm and other trees and shrubs, including a big pomelo tree in the reception area. We stayed in independent villas. The beds are very comfortable, the bath and toilet areas are unique (I would suggest they use better and thicker toilet paper!). Maybe because of the closed space the rooms can be musty. The pool is nice, however, not children friendly as it is 5'8" all over. They have performances of traditional tharu dances every alternate night, with guest participation encouraged at the last dance. The resort makes arrangements for canoe rides (dugout canoes or boats) along the Rapti and jeep safaris inside the Chitwan National park, where if you are lucky you might see a tiger too. They also provide a tour of tharu village life, as well as a trip to the the crocodile breeding centre. On request they even arrange for jungle walk with proper security. You can hire bicycles too. It's a place to get way from the daily hubbub.. this not have TV sets in the premises, and also a bit sketchy WiFi in the rooms. Wake up early to hear the birds!

Set on the park boundary this hotel is stunning! Walkways with trees and shrubs leading to individual lodges, well maintained. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice touches in the room with a torch and insect repellent. The buffet meals were excellent quality with plenty of choice. An outdoor pool with sunbeds and towels, bar, small shop and spa offering massage treatments. Many activities on offer from the Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent lodges, different cuisines presented beautifully and all very tasty. Our jungle drive and driver were both very good at spotting and tracking the wildlife as well as being very knowledgable and patient with all our questions. Nearly saw a tiger as well which is very rare.

Kasara Jungle Resort is an amazing place to visit. Sujan had our days filled with adventurous experiences - safaris, canoe rides, and walks. Nishan made certain no detail went unnoticed. He took care of us from booking till we stepped on our outbound flight.
