Unfortunately we arrived late and maybe we got the last room. It was expensive for what it is as the room is old style and is not up to contemporary standards. The worst thing was that there was a strong smell of body odour which could not be fixed because the windows could not be opened. Overall an expensive and really really bad experience.

schöne Innenarchitektur. Schöne Materialien ausgewählt. Ansprechend für Surfer und alle anderen Gäste. Große, helle freundliche Zimmer und ein Rooftop-Highlight: Restaurant, Freiluftlounge und Schmimmbad mit großartiger Aussicht. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Kofferservice und Parkservice wird für die Tiefgarage übernommen!
Gute Lage: alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Hätten gern verlängert - Hotel war aber leider ausgebucht. Nach der ersten Reise an den wunderschönen Golf von Biskaya hat Biarritz den Ort San Sebastian noch übertroffen. Der Wahnsinn: das beste Essen ever!! villa-schmidt.de

Having booked hotel at short notice, I had seen a few mixed reviews including one that was critical of the staff. As the hotel was newly opened, I decided it was part of the opening process so I booked nonetheless. I was positively surprised when I arrived at 1 pm to find my room ready, upgraded and to be greeted by super friendly and efficient staff. This turned out to be a theme of the hotel. The location is great, the restaurant and breakfast are more than ok, but it is the service level that makes it stand out. They charged my kindle, brought me a plate of fruit when they learned I could not it the cake they had sent up etc etc. This is a great option for visitors to Biarritz.

The hotel has a modern jet pleasant atmosphere. Professional staff. We had a beautiful room facing the ocean. A beautiful view and good climate. The ac worked very well. Al you need is facilitated. Watercooker, coffeemachine, minibar with water. The furniture is modern and comfortable. Breakfast is in the topfloor restaurant which looks like a beachbar/ restaurant. Breakfast is plentyful and of top quality. The pool is also super. Nice beds and chairs. The rooftop restaurant was of good quality and has a beautiful view. I can rocommend this as one of the nicest places to stay!

We had a fantastic five days at Talaia hotel. Brilliant location, views, facilities, pool and food with helpful staff at reception. We had two rooms for our first stay which worked well with our three children, then after a weekend in Spain we came back to a single family room. Lots of room for the five of us and beds were all super comfortable. We will definitely return!
