ShxpirEverything about my stay was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better—close to everything and within easy walking distance of the beach and my surf classes. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always super helpful with anything I needed. I had such a great stay here and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

Guest UserAn enjoyable stay at this lovely independent hotel.( I think it is part of a small group of hotels, but St Julien is not like a chain hotel.
The bedroom was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable king size bed. The en-suite shower was walk in ( very easy for oldies like us) and with modern fixtures and fittings.
Breakfast which can be served in the dining room or in the garden was a plentiful continental offering- lots of choice and all delicious.
All the staff we encountered were efficient and friendly.
Hotel is situated a short walk from Les Halles and
approximately 20 minutes walk to the seafront.
We so enjoyed our stay that we booked for an extra night.

nice interior architecture. Beautiful materials selected. Attractive for surfers and all other guests. Great, bright friendly rooms and a rooftop highlight: restaurant, outdoor lounges and swimming pool with great views. Previous staff. The baggage service and parking service are taken over for the deep garage!
Good location: everything is reachable on foot. Had liked to extend - the hotel was unfortunately booked. After the first trip to the beautiful Golf of Biskaya, Biarritz has still overcome San Sebastian. Crazy: the best eating ever!! Villa-Schmidt.de

Structure well located to reach the city on foot, clean apartment with panoramic sea view.
Large outdoor pool beautiful and clean.
Being a residence and not a hotel they do not provide daily room cleaning.
Convenient parking in the structure at the price of €8, we did not try breakfast.

Atrocious dinner service; I asked twice for water, but it was never brought. I had to ask a third time. We ate all of our starters without any of our ordered drinks (wine or water) delivered.
Awful breakfast service on the first morning. In a busy environment, the logical layout of where plates and cutlery are kept (also a large distance apart) is completely nonsensical and the staff were very slow to replenish breakfast supplies during peak breakfast time.
At 9.05 am, a cleaner knocked on the door! Ludicrously early. We shouted to ask them to leave.
At 2.52 pm, a male staff member unlocked the door and promptly walked into the room without invitation while my partner was in bed, unclothed. This was grossly unacceptable. On that basis, you absolutely must not stay at this hotel. There is a serious safety issue here.
This hotel is the ”Fawlty Towers” of Biarritz, except nobody is laughing.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Jolies chambres, propres avec tout le confort nécessaire. le seul point négatif serait l'isolation phonique (on entend vraiment les bruits de la rue).

L'appartement mériterait quelques travaux de rénovation. L'accès par les couloirs ne sont pas propres et la propreté de l'appartement en lui même est un peu limitée.
We tested the indoor pool, which would deserve a person present to clean the soil regularly...

Guest UserWonderful friendly administrators! Delicious breakfasts! One thing is confusing: (distance to the thick of things, bus stop nearby, airport 10 minutes walk. Therefore, although not so frequent flights, the audibility is there. But I arrived like crazy:) so I slept like a log. In general, I liked everything!)) There was no refrigerator in the room, but the receptionists kindly offered to put it in theirs!)
