Hotel Temple Ponferrada

The hotel is conveniently located, the interior furnishings are unique and very clean. Every receptionist in the lobby and the restaurant service are very enthusiastic and provide first-class service👍

NOOOOOOO take it. As for rooms, atmosphere... discreet. We hire half board. Breakfast, normal. But worst of all, dinner. The cook left at 3 in the afternoon and at night there was someone in the kitchen and another person at all the tables. The chaos. On the first day, it was missing 2 of the 3 seconds we chose. They gave me the option of seafood rice to replace what I ordered. INEDIBLE!!!Cold, bland, tasteless, a mess... I had to eat some of the grilled chicken breast that they gave to my wife (also as a substitute dish). The 2nd day, worse. Of the first 3, there were none. Of the 3 seconds, 2 were missing... To make matters worse, the second one they gave me (knuckle) tasted bad. The man at the next table, who told me he was a cook, told me not to eat it. They also gave it to him and he said it stung his palate, it was in bad condition... All the tables protesting, the poor kid (who is not to blame for the disaster), did not know what excuses to make and what answers to give. I had a very bad time for him. It is very unfair to single out the very few staff who are sold to customers by showing their faces while those responsible do not appear there. To make matters worse, when we went to file a claim the morning we were leaving, a married couple came up to file another one. The reason: at 3 in the morning they had to be moved to another room (very shabby, according to them) because their bed was full of BEDBUGS!!! The 4 stars of this hotel are amazing. I can not explain.
