Peacefulness!!!
Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! Had a shower head malfunction but we fixed ourselves. Would have liked a few more signs on road to get there. Not all rooms have kitchen or Cabnets . Need to let owner know if can’t do stairs .( 4 people master in loft with attic stairs )

Everything was very pleasant: clean and comfortable. The magnificent nature and the ancient tower create an unforgettable impression!
I would like to note the friendliness of the staff. There was a surprise waiting for us in the room - a bottle of excellent Riesling as a gift)).
Very tasty and varied breakfast with good coffee.

The place has great potential. Our room was warm and quiet, and offered amazing views. However, it was also cramped with an unexpected extra bunk bed squeezed in. The bathroom was in need of some repairs. There is no on-site restaurant (advertised), but there is thankfully an elevator since the only stairs up to the rooms are the fire escape outside the building (listing says no elevator). The on-site staff tried very hard to be helpful but they clearly have limited hotel or food service experience, and could barely speak German or English. The listing advertises breakfast available for 15 Euros per person, but we were asked to pay 20 Euros each instead.

Nice trip
If you have a family and you love German wine, I want to recommend this accommodation.
It is located on top of hills, you can enjoy nice view with Rhien-river.
I requested to take a dinner and breakfast, these were perfect and they provided warm hospitality.
They have own winery, the guest can enjoy good quality wine in there.
The building has a lift.

Sehr speziell, im positiven Sinne. Vielleicht ist es eher ein B&B als ein Hotel, aber auf jeden Fall super. Wenn man die Wegbeschreibung auf der Website genau liest ist die Anfahrt einfach. Man wohnt in einem Turm, jedes Zimmer ist eine eigene Etage. Wir waren als Gruppe dort und hatten den ganzen Turm gebucht, die oberste Etage ist ein Aufenthalts-/Partyraum. Von dieser Etage hat man eine super Sicht auf den Rhein, Mainz, Wiesbaden und bei klarem Wetter bis Frankfurt. Im Bad alles Notwendige vorhanden, gute Betten mit ordentlichen Matratzen, Zimmerservice jeden zweiten Tag. Reichhaltiges Frühstück zubuchbar, die Mitarbeitenden versuchen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wer etwas aussergewöhnliches sucht wird nicht enttäuscht werden. Abgeschieden im Wald, sehr ruhig.

Ein Traum! Ich suchte nach Ruhe und Erholulng und fand sie in der Hallgarter Zange. Geruhsamer Schlaf auf einer super Matratze - in diesem wunderschönen Zimmer, in dem man sich wie ein Burgfräulein fühlt. Super Wandermöglichkeiten, reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Mein Mann und ich haben uns für ein Wochenende in der Hallgarter Zange im Rheingau eingemietet. Der Ausblick war -wie erwartet- sagenhaft. Wer Weite und Ruhe in der Natur sucht und gern wandert, ist an diesem Ort optimal aufgehoben. Wer mal richtig detoxen und in der Sonne im Liegestuhl seinen Weißwein (aus der hauseigenen Winzerei!!!) genießen möchte, ist hier richtig. An kühleren Tagen bitte dicke Jacke mitnehmen, es zieht schon ordentlich dort oben. Der Ausblick auf den Rhein, die Weinfelder im Rheingau so weit das Auge reicht, hat schon seinen ganz eigenen ´südländischen´Charme. Im Frühling und Sommer an lauen Sommerabenden muss es hier noch schöner sein, deshalb kommen wir bald wieder, sobald es wärmer geworden ist´´
