Check in at the hotel, in town was very uninspiring.
Just presented with a key and emergency telephone numbers.
The apartment was up an outside flight of 15 concrete steps.
The room is quite dated, flyscreens on the opening window was not secured, however, on a positive note, the bed was comfortable and linens of good quality.
We stayed for 3 nights but didn't have any towels changed during that time!... the room was only serviced on one occasion. Rather disappointed in the lack of service.

The seaside is so beautiful. The window faces the sea. It feels like sitting by the window for an afternoon.
There is a super famous lobster restaurant next to it
The whole town is so beautiful. You can see little penguins within a 15-minute walk.

We checked in at the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The motel is right by the sea, at the foot of a big rock, with many seagulls in Stanley Bay behind it. The scenery is pleasant, the hotel has complete facilities and large windows with sea views. The design of the hotel is very retro, the environment is clean and tidy, and hot water is available at a limited time, from 9:30 in the morning to 11:00 in the evening. You need to go to the nearby Stanley Hotel reception to get the key. You can walk to the beach at night to watch the penguins return to their nests. It is very close and convenient. There is also a lonely cafe and a small fishing port near the hotel. You can walk there to relax.

Check in and check out at the hotel next door.
The location is very good, opposite the lobster restaurant and very close to the pier. The sunrise and sunset sea views are great.
You can also see little penguins in the evening, and there are little kangaroos on the grass on the way back to the parking lot.

The room was upgraded to a two-bedroom, room 10, which was really great, except for having to move the luggage to the second floor. In addition, check-in is not here, but at the Stanley hotel, which is about 500 meters away.
