Despite its good location, we were disappointed with our stay here. We booked two superior double rooms, however one of the rooms was far from superior with hardly enough room to swing a cat, with no facilities to hang clothes and an en-suite that lacked space and had a broken toilet seat. The cocktail bar was not open so didn’t get the experience we expected

booked this hotel to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, was very disappointed and wont be coming back!! I rang up and had asked for a room with no stairs as my father cant walk up them and there wasnt a room for him, he had to get the lift then a flight of stairs to his room! the views from the rooms were awful, and no hand washing facilities in the bathroom! shower gel component was empty too and had to use little bit of the shampoo that was there! bad housekeeping, food very expensive and sauces for the steaks were missed or ran out of! asked for the pasta dish without mushrooms and this was ignored and it was very bland in taste, chef needs to taste his food more! overall we had a bad experience here and definately needs addressing

I stayed here for 5 nights during Rebellion Festival. It's about 25 minutes walk to the Winter Gardens, overlooking the beach and sea right on the seafront. Room was small, clean and decent with a seaview, and location was surprisingly quiet as it's far enough away from most of the attractions. Bed was very comfortable. I arrived early and could not gain entry to my room until 3pm, so sat in the bar with a beer for half an hour. Reception is not continually manned, but you can call staff any time of day with a provided telephone number. My only 2 gripes are that the room was not cleaned, bed made or bin emptied during my entire stay. Secondly that I had no hot water in the sink, despite asking for this to be remedied. Weird as the shower worked well.

Just had a weekend in this hotel and it was great very clean staff was great Daniel the manager couldn’t do enough for us he was brilliant only thing we food was the food was to expensive

We, being three adults and a teen, loved the excellent food. It's really good. Really great Chef. Not matched by the table settings (nonexistent) or service (maybe it is just awful early season). The location, especially at sunset, is stunning. Prices were pretty much the same as we paid elsewhere. About £120 for 4 main course meals with drinks. I quite like if I am paying for a meal to have my table settings done. Didn't do pudding as just seconds along the main promenade... the ice-cream and freshly made waffle selections are really yummy.

The food was good, the Napoli sauce was so good! But the meatballs were a little tough to my liking but overall really good. We hade Luke serve us and he was friendly and so was the other staff as well.

Room was clean, fresh and very contemporary. Comfy bed. The owner Dean was very friendly and approachable and engaging in conversation. The manager Daz was more than helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend a stay here i for sure will be coming back again

Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful after we left our original hotel due to it being filthy. so we desperately needed somewhere to stay. Beautiful clean rooms and comfortable bed. We also had a lovely sea view. Nice bar inside with outside seating too. Would absolutely go back there.
