Lanayr Hotel

Absolute disaster from start to finish. No one at the hotel, so we couldn't get in. No, we were to park but said online there was parking. When we did get in, we had to pay an extra £10 for parking. We were shown to our room to find one of the beds was completely broken. Went to tell them they did say they could fix it. Which was great. Bed was changed when we returned. We found that the double bed was also broken, and the divan base was broken. Partner then checked our 7 years olds bed to find that the bed base was broken into pieces and not suitable to sleep on. Unfortunately, there was nobody at the hotel to report this too. Our daughter ended up sleeping on the mattress on the floor. This was the family room for 5 people. The other issues were that the floor boards in the lounge area of our room were missing near the radiator, and you could feel the pipes when you walked over them. Also, the floor boards in the twin room part lifted when you walked on them. The door to the room wouldn't lock properly from the inside, and when it did, you struggled to unlock it again. Upon booking this, it stated the bar was open of an evening. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The bar room was locked the whole evening. The following morning, there was no one around to report any of these issues, too. You just left your room key on the side near the bar door.

Room wasn’t the greatest, hole in the floor, radiator wasn’t working, and the room stunk of damp not to mention the shelf falling off the wall. Also used the key for the front door and wasn’t able to get in.

We visited this place with friends, 5 of us, and got a great service for 5 people in 2 different rooms. We shared one toilet. We paid 118 quids for service which is quite nice for 5 people staying for a night. As we were visiting the Blackpool pleasure beach and carrying backpacks would have been difficult so we requested the hotel staff to keep our luggage while we checked out and were gone out for the entire day, and thankfully they agreed. All in all I loved the overall service, highly commendable.

Hotel was ok ,basic but clean . Paying to park was £10 a night and I thought it was not needed . You had to ask for a clean towel on day two .

You get what you pay for Selected pay at property and they took the money out of my bank before I even arived, asked a few questions through the app with absolutely zero response from the hotel. Upon arivel we had to wait 10 minutes before being let into the building and after that the rooms were still not ready at 7pm. No one available on reception at any time and bar was always closed. There was mould growing in the bathroom and the shower curtain was mankey Be careful when walking around the floor is un even throughout the hotel rolled my ankle coming down some steps because there was a 1 inch dip in the floor right in the middle of the stairs with bo warning anywhere about it. Heating was constantly on with no way of turning it off. Hot water lasted about 2 minuets.

Budget It was ok clean still looks like renavating it odd jobs still need.disapointed no lift broken second hotel done this.please check if disability youre hotel lift working not good.
