Just got back from our overnight stay at Fairhaven we were made to feel very welcome by the Owners nothing was to much trouble for them We stayed in room 6 which was right at the top of the building (up 3 flights of stairs) so not good for any mobility issues The room itself was a Family room with a large comfy double bed and a set of bunkbeds it was relatively clean especially for the price Bathroom was adequate although Hubby being a larger Guy could only just fit in the shower Towels and toiletries were provided There is a fully stocked bar downstairs and meals can be provided Breakfast is included in the price and was really lovely Hubby had the full English it was huge a proper Mans brekki Cereals and juice are also included Parking is limited to only 3 spaces behind the building but there is charged parking not far away Blackpool town centre and Seafront is around a 10 min walk away so very local to all amenities Def stay again

We have stopped in loads of hotels in Blackpool but my god this one was the music it was on all day till 1am it was so loud it hurt your ears and even the cups was rattling think it was more for stag & hen party’s it’s a shame course the hotel was spotless except u had to be skinny to get into bathroom as door didn’t open fully due to the bed breakfast couldn’t fault it not for family’s

Arrived to discover the owner Chris had mistakenly cancelled our booking due to his own error, despite having had 2 telephone conversations prior. We didn’t actually stay here as he had no rooms but first impressions not promising as looked in need of refurbishment. To be fair he rang a mate who did get us into his place along the road. I’d avoid this part ofBlackpool as it’s looking really run down now and there are much better options nearby.

If you’re looking for 5* luxury then this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for genuinely nice people and somewhere to lay your head comfortably then look no further. Yes it’s dated and old school, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and more. Jim was very welcoming and showed us where to park the car after calling up last minute due to 5 local car parks being full. Breakfast was one of the best, it was actually hot most breakfasts I’ve had have been warm at best. It’s also in a good location and we slept all night as it was quiet and the other quests were respectful. This place really does depend on your own expectations and what you’re looking for, but it was ideal for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We recently had a one night stay.. Greeted by Jim on arrival who showed us where to park the car. I would rate this as a 2 star hotel not a 4 star do not understand how that rating was given. Our room was quite comfortable but does need a bit of tender care dump the artificial flowers around the house looking quite grubby. This B&B was taken over in February and Chis is working hard to encourage guests to enjoy their stay we found him very friendly and accomadating. Breakfast ok we were offered a choice and pleased to say the plates were warm which I like my food served on Chris is the chef but please buy some new whites. I hope that they make a success of the business but do need to make an improvement decor wise.

We stayed here as photos looked so nice...they were from a previous owner back in 2016. The room was not checked during our stay. The bathroom was a disgrace. The chef/owner had dirty clothes on serving breakfast and the tea towel over his should was filty. We found a hair in our breakfast. The PAT testing on appliances was out of date It's more like a 2* than a 5*

This is a guest house, not an hotel. Stayed Monday to Friday and the room was never checked. The bin was over flowing. Proprietor sat with a can of strong lager in his hand from morning until night. The breakfast served was of good quality but the chefs whites, who was the owner, we're grey. I dread to think what the kitchen was like. Boasted a 5* cleanliness certificate, which belonged to a previous owner. We were asked to provide personal details on a form we were handed. I found the form we had filled in, along with another quests, left on a table in the lounge for all to see. Clearly a breach of data protection!
