Charnley Gold

As a trio of friends, we visit Blackpool every February for the Magic Convention. The Charnley Gold is perfectly situated within walking distance of the Winter Gardens and some great restaurants. Annabella and Martyn are the perfect hosts. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast (and the kitchen staff) is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Stayed in this hotel for a few days and the hotel is absolutely lovely. Annabelle and Martin made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was delicious. Room was very nice, well heated and very clean, would highly recommend!!

On arrival the hotel was lovely and well presented. The landlord gave us a really warm welcome. The room was lovely and clean. Lovely crisp white sheets ☺️ Breakfast was amazing really tasty. Overall a fab weekend 10/10. Really well priced

Stopping at charnley gold again annabell and Martyn very welcoming very nice to see them again and the breakfast was great went for breakfast one morning and needed mountaining gear to conquer the amount of breakfast I got and was great to meet some of annabells and martyns family love coming here to stay

Choosing a hotel to stay in when visiting Blackpool can sometimes turn into a game of roulette so finding a hotel that offers such a great stay as Charnley Gold is a real win. From the moment you walk in, the owners were friendly and attentive to what you needed from your stay. After a long drive, it puts you at ease knowing you have a warm welcome waiting for you. The room itself was clean, well decorated and spacious with ample tea and coffee facilities. The beds and bedding were comfy with clean crisp bedding. It is worth noting that if you are coming up for a dance comp let the hotel know in case the fake tan ruins their nice bedding!!! The bar area was clean, everyone was friendly and chatty and the prices were very reasonable. It is worth noting that it is really worth talking to the hotel directly to get the best deal available rather than going through a 3rd party booking website. Location is fantastic for access to the Winter Gardens and the Tower, and there is a sizeable outdoor car park at the top of the road which appeared to be well maintained and reasonably priced. All in all, we had a great stay at the hotel and would gladly return in the future. Cheers!

A good, clean hotel near the tower etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast was provided every morning. Nothing was too much trouble. A very reasonably priced place to stay in Blackpool.

Warm friendly hotel. 5 minutes walk to the tower. Very welcoming hosts Tony & Ann. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with en-suit facilities. Best breakfast in Blackpool and a reasonably priced bar. Go as a guest and leave as lifelong friend. Ample parking in the car park across the road with reasonable rates for your stay. Within walking distance to all the central amenities and the train station. Not our first visit and definitely won’t be our last.

I stayed in this hotel in August for the air show weekend as a solo traveler for the first time I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect but as soon as I arrived I was welcomed by martyn and annabella who made me feel at ease and alot less nervous check in was easy and quick I went up to my room and found a lovely clean room with a comfy bed,the breakfast was lovely and hot and you could pick what you wanted which was ideal the bar was open during the day and nite so was ideal if u didn't want to be out all day best hotel I've found in blackpool by far will definitely be staying here again thank u so much annabella and martyn for a lovely stay can't wait to see u guys again and lucky soon xx

Another fantastic stay in a beautiful and clean hotel, beds are comfortable breakfast is fantastic too, Martin and Annabelle and all the staff make you feel really welcome and right at home, my little boy didn’t want to come home he wanted to stay he enjoyed himself that much and liked Martin a lot, thankyou for a amazing stay as always and we will see you again next year. Ps Aardean misses you a lot Martin, he really took a shine to you and the gorgeous lucky.
