Upset , thought it was very basic but ok when I was there, since returning my dog has flea's, which she has never had before and is a housedog, so could not have caught from anywhere else, very disappointed 😞

Hotel is in extreme disrepair and very very dirty, was on the top floor but wasn’t told lift was out of order till after we paid and it is very visible I’m disabled, after making it up the 3 flights of steep stairs we got to our room which was filthy, stained, damp & cold, bathroom window was hanging out, inadequate bedding, missing light fittings, we checked out at 8am but there was nobody in reception so left key in room and tried ringing 8 times all through the morning to let them know and complain but nobody answered, worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel and only stayed as it was late and had no other choice, please please avoid at all costs, it’s really not worth the risk!!!!!

Would of loved the lift working as on 2nd floor music stopped at 1130 which was adequate but some drunks wanted him to carry on but our room was above and I heard it from the night before kids running up and down the three flights of stairs and banging but I think was sorted but the place is near to tram stop and pleasure beach good value for money Elvis was great with our granddaughter would come back again

Avoid if at all possible - hotel looks like it houses the local homeless when they have spare rooms. Rooms had broken furniture, plug in heaters which didn’t work, carpets were disgusting, mouldy bathrooms and just an all round gruesome experience. Rooms felt wet when we entered, walls were damp and the entire place smelt awful. We checked in as a group and handed the keys back after assessing the rooms. We could not stay here with children, the other guests did not look child friendly, nor was the atmosphere. This hotel is more like a hostel. Carpark convenient however we had an audience as we locked the cars and approached the hotel, left us feeling very uneasy. We were quoted £179 to stay here for 2 nights - absolutely shocking! Very close to Pleasure beach but if you want a safe clean stay this hotel is NOT for you! I would not recommend for anything other than the location and you’d probably be better off sleeping in the car.

OK we booked a cheap room as just needed to stay one night and literally somewhere to sleep. Greeted by a gentleman who was wandering round who went to find someone to book us in. Tried to charge us for the free car park. I refused ! Room on 3rd floor. On way up there alarm Bells started ringing I'm in no way a snob but buckets catching water. Carpet taped down. Corridors blocked off with chairs. By the time I had pushed my asthmatic hubby up the last few stairs we embarked down the dreary narrow corridor and saw more buckets and a sign saying fire exit can't be used. Slightly worrying !! Got in the room OK bed looked clean but undentifiable stains on the carpets . Something thrown over the doors and the kettle well look at the pics ! Wasn't expecting much but the damp and mould and dirt would have finished my hubby off. Back down stairs to say thanks but no thanks stink of cigarette smoke hit us in the entrance from owner stood at front door having a cig. Crap customer service finished us off. Maybe when we saw the sign offering rooms by the day or part day for a tenner we should have been alarmed !!

Ok well firstly i stayed here every year for yeats until my family outgrew the place with the previous owners. I stayed there 4 weeks ago and had a bad experience for a night but decided to try again for 2 nights last week as the location for pleasure beach is excellent but thats it. First time they let me park car as i was there 1 hour early but last week different lady seemed off and said should charge really for being 1 hr early always used to allow me to park in past and was plenty space. The new owners are nice i will say that in fairness but now the negaives the lift has not worked in such a long time and downstairs toilet out of order. All the front wall has bricks everywhere looks like 3 or 4 cars have hit it so did not park my car near that needs repairing. Loads of damp in what used to be a lounge area u sat in overlooking the seafront with the pool table moved from restuarant bar area and shoved in there. The room was so poor condition door hanging off wardrobe and very old furniture. Sealant repair on the floor of it too and my celing in bathroom was all taped up and when u flushed the toilet a bad noise like a boat blowing his horn embarassing went on for sometime. Bed is comfy to be fair but no soap unlike the first time and cups not clean in room in fairness it was a very bad room and furnture out of the ark. Restaurant i noticed ceiling has an area all dropping down by restaurant door way needs repaiting what a site. Breakfast just 9 to 9.30am not a big window then when we did come down 9.20am lady moaned all guests coming down together creating to much work at once. Breakfast way worsethan first time and not that cheap either. Forgot to get us coffee we didnt get it and forgot our toast more than once we got ourself. The mini boxes of cereal last time was all varities this time special k only. Or few loose dishes help yourself of cornflakes but dont taste branded. No milk had to ask and orange juice wow its horrible nothing like i have ever tasted. Sugar puff stuck in our tea cups and cutlery stickey and not all clean so dissappointed. Main english breakfast eggs are the best and only thing everything else mushrooms hashbrowns all tasted of sausage so weird like it was all done together or fried or something horrible. Bacon lots of white fat collection on it so needed scrapimg off and baked beans pale looking and not pleasant we left most of it and had the egg on a piece of toast and the bacon thats it. Not quality very off putting shame as iys a good location and i know the place is cheap the door locks on rooms stick and dont work well all in all our last visit now its too run down pay a little more and get a better experience i feel as the owners have too much work and need a lot of money to bring this back to standard it used to be and it wont happen. Couldnt even leave my car there when i checked out used to always do this yet i came back and carpark was really empty anyway. Not the same and very low stars now if any sorr
