Alexandra Hotel

Clean, tidy, and COMPACT accommodation. Used as a base going out during the day and eating breakfast and evening meals at local venues. The location was excellent for walking to the Blackpool Tower and along the promenade. The onsite staff were available, cheerful, and helpful. Amenities were adequate. The en-suite included a GOOD shower, but it was NOT spacious. The fridge in the room was very useful for fruit etc. Kettle in the room for tea or coffee. Iron and ironing board available on the premises. Note that parking, one space at the side of the property, was an extra charge per night, otherwise parking on the street, or at locally managed car parks at various rates.

Excellent greeting upon arrival room had a beautiful view want that room every time i come ensuit bathroom was clean as expected noticed how quiet it was for a hotel right on the sea front and very close to train stations also which was important to our trip highly recommended hotel For staying at top stars ⭐️

WORST NIGHT SLEEP WE’VE HAD IN YEARS!! The hotel is very basic but we weren’t expecting luxury given the price but we also weren’t expecting the beds to be so uncomfortable it was more comfy sleeping on the floor. We piled up pillows and duvets to try to compensate for the shockingly bad mattress and broken divan base but we hardly slept. They also have very narrow times for check-in and check-out and the bed linen was really itchy.

Stay away from this hotel was advertised at £55 a night which I was happy with and was asked for a £20 deposit which was fine and pay the remainder £35 when I arrived to check in, we arrived at 18:15 and was told I owe £65, I questioned this and asked why and was told if u check in after 5pm there is a £10 charge for some bizarre reason understandable if no one’s there at that time and staff have to be called down but owners live downstairs, I have to pay the deposit again even though I’ve already paid it and the remainder of £35, I explained ive already paid the deposit and was told no it must be paid again and I will receive it back in the morning in cash so I agreed, morning came asked for my deposit back and was told no cash is on site so obviously they lied to just get me to pay it again and said it will have to be bank transfer still haven’t received it back so all in I ended up paying £85 for a £55 room also they charge £10 for parking if u need it but the car park is advertised cheaper if u just paid the machine yourself something not quite right about this place wouldn’t recommend no facilities hair dryer iron etc. didn’t bother asking as I should imagine there’s all sorts of charges for them aswell this place isn’t going to cost you the price advertised there’s so many hidden charges once u start paying the odd £10 and more appear ure stuck then because u don’t want to pay more but neither lose what u have already paid so be careful can get much better places for the price u actually end up paying

Not bad but get ready for the tenners The room was ok, clean and tidy. The problem was all the charges, £10 fee to check in after 5pm which is a con as who can check in before 5pm on a weekday after work? Next was the parking, charged £10 for a little tight spot next to the hotel and was blocked in, she promised the car in front would be moved by 8am the following day but all she did was wake a guy up at 7:55 who had been out drinking and got in at 3am so he wasn’t best pleased!

I would say this hotel is quite new refurbished. N I would say this hotel is quite new refurbished. Nearly all facilities are 90% new. The hot water flow is big and well serviced. I took a room on the 2nd floor - the highest floor. The bedding sheets stuff are clean. And the room is spacious for 3-4 members family.
