Ibis Budget Saint-Omer Centre

Good location for walking into the town. 25 minute walk to the train station. Nice clean, fresh rooms that had a modern feel.

Stopped off at this hotel on our way south. Yes it's basic but it's perfect for an overnight stopover. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the only downside... for us anyway was that the air conditioning didn't go cool enough and it was a warm night. The breakfast was typical continental style and very nice. A large carpark is attached so parking was no problem. WiFi was very good. Definitely will visit again as we didn't get to see any of the town, other than the commercial area which is a 5 minute walk down the road with bars & restaurants and a supermarket.

Back again, here again, same warm welcome, item forgotten three weeks ago kept for our return, definitely earning "bonus points".

Free car park, easy walking-distance from centre of St. Omer, which is well worth a visit. Plenty of restaurants nearby and hotel breakfast very adequate. Air-con a bonus we appreciated. Barely a 40-minute drive from Shuttle terminal.

Disgusting, the room was filthy the bedding was yellow when it should have been white. The spare toilet roll was covered in dust (thick dust) the edges of the floors had not been swept or mopped in what looked like years. The corridors outside the rooms weren’t must better. We left at 7am because we didn’t want to stay there a minute longer than needed.. it was grim

Basic facilities, which we knew when booking. Initially expected to arrive late from the tunnel and be off in morning, but ended up getting a much earlier train. St Omer deserves time and a walk around - lovely park and some good bars and bistros so glad we got to see that. Hotel well positioned for getting back onto the autoroute and for walking into town.
