Great guest house and friendly warm service. A really beautiful place.

A fantastic experience. The facilities were top-notch with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was a particular highlight with a great selection of delicious food. The atmosphere of the hotel was also very nice and warm. The hotel's location was also excellent, with easy access to the beaches and the centre of Cape Town. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent facilities and a convenient location.

I really recommend this place to stay in Plettenberg Bay! Nice rooms, very friendly people working there, and a delicious breakfast.

My title says it all. Everything about this B & B is amazing from the location to the cozy rooms, to the beautiful garden. The hosts are extremely friendly and always helpful. The rooms are always clean.

Jenny & Charl are exceptionnel hosts, very helpful with everything we needed. Jenny dealt with my grand daughter Chloé's allergy to all kind of food, with great care. Charl gave me all the necessary info on traffic congestions, on restaurants advise, and on activities in the area ... and he also went the extra length to sort out the drop off with the rental company at Cape Town Airport... and with a smile. Their little daughter Sonia is a gem. It was the perfect venue for our family of 9.

Freindly hosts, very helpful in giving advice on attractions wine farms etc, breakfasts very good plenty of choice,located in quiet residential area.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our 12 night stay at the Mandalay Beach Guest House. Sharl and Jennifer, the owners, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made our vacation stress free. The wonderful breakfasts we enjoyed will live with us for a very long time. We varied our breakfasts, some days having crepes, other times the omelette option while yet other times the full English Breakfast with chicken sausages (we arraigned with the guest house before our arrival). The Mandalay Beach Guest House is situated in a safe area that is within a 10 minute walk to the beach. The property is very well managed, and the garden is so beautiful! We wanted a quiet area away from the many noises associated with vacation spots, and this guest house delivered! A place where you can relax while being a few minutes away from the vacation hotspots. The Mandalay Beach Guest House is also close to Cape Town. My wife and I got an Uber (Comfort) during peak hour for $10, what a good deal. Lastly, the proprietors, Sharl and Jennifer are genuinely nice people that care about others, they went above-and-beyond to see that we were comfortable and that our needs were met!

The place is very neat, clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. The stay made one feel like being at home away from home. I also thought the refreshments in the room are a great touch especially after a long working day...I'd gladly stay there again.

Thanks Sharl and Jeni for hosting old ladies like us we feel at home. We enjoy your company for taking care of us, with your beautiful place and nice garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable the breakfast was 100% good. Coming with my family next time. Love you guys and care and be blessed.

Hosts were friendly. Accommodation was not up to our standards. Garden beautiful, however the bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas requires upgrade and maintenance. Breakfast was restricted from 07:30 - 09:30. During December holiday, guests prefer to have breakfast opened until 10:30. The hosts did try to accommodate on some days. Hosts was always present, and we found the camera's invaded our family space in the communal areas. Leading sliding doors to garden was armed at 20:00 during the holiday's, noted security was a concern, however felt that hosts could have arranged to armed doors a little later to allow guess to use the garden and table for smokers.
