Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives

Such an amazing break. The sea villas were incredible, huge with everything we needed and steps down into the beautiful crystal waters. House keeping visited twice daily to clean and turn down the rooms, the staff were so lovely. The food was incredible, only issue is we’re returning home about three times heavier than when we arrived! Again the staff were amazing, especially Ristya and Hussain who always kept an eye out for us and had a big smile to greet us every day. The food was so fresh and varied, and the Indian themed night was incredible. And the fresh omelettes every morning! If you wanted to be super healthy then there were lots of options. We just found it very hard to say no as it was all delicious! Unfortunately we didn’t manage to see any whale sharks but did swim with manta rays which was an unforgettable experience and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting, certainly worth the additional cost. We also saw turtles and dolphins, and again the staff at the water sports centre were great and went above and beyond to search for all the creatures. The pool, pool bar, restaurants are all fantastic and everything is super well maintained and pristine. The whole trip was really well organised, we were greeted by a really friendly chap at the airport and shown to the lounge whilst we waited for the sea plane - also great fun. Even though the accommodation was fully booked for the 10 days we were there, it was very quiet and peaceful, amazing for anyone seeking a proper chilled out break. Can’t wait to come back.

Suitable for any type of vacation, families and friends, relaxation and fun. The staff is very helpful for any need, cleaning, wellness care and much more. The food is excellent and international, the Suman chef is very kind, always smiling and makes you feel at home. Rejin is always active and available in proposing activities and organizing events, special dinners. I leave a piece of my heart here but I will definitely come back.

We had a brilliant stay, which exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do more to assist, especially Rejin!

Fabulous holiday at Bacelo Whale Lagoon, although we unfortunately didn’t see any Whale Sharks. Beautiful Water Villas, fantastic pool Food was amazing. Big shout out to the staff. In particular Rejin and Ristiya who could have done no more for us.

Vacanza stupenda!!!! Staff super Maisoon was eccellente and his service was really fast and good and hes the best dancer our stay is much better with him
