Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives

Both the accommodation and the food were really good. We are enjoying the perfect service. It was the best vacation ever.

We had the most relaxing holiday from the time we were met at the airport. The entire staff went beyond to ensure our holiday was memorable. We stayed in a sunset beach villa with a pool. Next level luxury and service. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you.

We had a great trip to this resort...our fifth different island...and arguably our best. We don't have excess money that many resorts charge but Whale Lagoon have struck a fair balance in terms of cost and quality of service. Admittedly we went in low season and the beach at the sandback was our own most days. The staff are the best yet and so very friendly and caring. There is no reef snorkelling, and the afternoon snorkel trip want great either....but we chose to visit to see the big ones - which we duly did, Whale sharks, nurse sharks, rays, and mantas. Yes, you have to pay for these half day trips but I would expect to and Saaim and the Dive centre were exceptionally devoted to their work and service. The island is small, only 1200m round the island walk, but when you traverse it's paths clever use of vegetation hide the buildings. We found sunrise villas best as faced the Lagoon with calmer area for sea access. Unlike other maldivian islands there is no appointed waiter for your table...which we preferred and therefore got to know them a lot better. Barcelo have put together a brilliant youg team that are caring and attentive.... we will break our resolve of trying new islands for each trip and will be back !

The team was really very helpful and always smiling. We had a fantastic time in this paradisiac hotel. The food was good and with many choices although we were there for a week. We had several activities including snorkeling which was great. The SPA services are really worth the experience

Best resort in Maldives. Charles take care of us like his family !! I recommend 100000 Times 😍😍❤️ The food is very good, service incredible, we even did a football games with the team of the respect. SPA massage is perfect very professionnel ! Go directly guys, even 1 week is not enough
