This is basically a dorm style hotel. It is used by athletes training at the national training center which is in walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are large, but the bed is also very large, so it leaves little space to move around in the room. The TV in the room did not work. The safe in the room did not work. The room was not dark enough to for good sleep. The shower is small, but there was good water pressure. There is no fan in the bathroom, so the window hear the top of the bathroom was open to the hallway. There is no heat and no air conditioning in the room. The room was very cold a couple of the nights while I was there. The "restaurant" is more like a cafeteria. There is a place in the lobby area with chairs and tables. There is no menu. Everyone eats from the buffet when it is open, or whatever they are served from the kitchen. Although they tried very hard to accommodate a vegetarian, it was clear it was a challenge. People in our group that ate meat thought the food was fine. Because it is an athlete hotel, there is no bar. But the biggest problem, by far, is the noise. All rooms face a busy street with lots of traffic, trucks, horns honking and sirens blaring throughout the entire night. Because the corridors are open to the roof, you can also hear all the hotel noise, even people talking from another floor. I played white noise on my computer and tried ear plugs, but cannot say I had a decent night's sleep during the entire stay. Good things: the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some people spoke enough English to communicate about basic things. The meeting room on the rooftop was a very nice place to work. And the views from there were beautiful. If not for the friendly staff and the rooftop space, I would say "STAY AWAY!" Unless you are looking for a budget hotel and can deal with the noise.
