The hotel is undergoing renovations and visiting Harper’s Ferry in winter may have been a mistake. There were 6 guests total staying in the hotel. Breakfast was inedible. Stale bagels and muffins, expired yogurt and barely warm coffee. House keeping only comes once a week at this time. After complaining, a very nice staff person made coffee and brought a bag of tangerines from the kitchen. We hope things will change after the renovation but we probably will not stay again.

I like that the property was easy to find and next to a small hiking trail. There was not a lot of restaurants within safe walking distance

Stayed there as a base for biking the C&O from harpers ferry to DC and riding the Amtrak back. It worked perfectly for this, bike friendly with a wash station and first floor rooms to bring your bike in (remember to let them know so you get put on 1st floor), close to the train station (easy 2 mile ride). Rooms clean, some minor maintenance/wear issues. Great breakfast with waffles, egg, and biscuits/gravy, they opened it earlier than stated to allow an early start. Overall recommend

Hotel in bad need of renovation. Sink cracked. Carpets dull with age. Help ranged from friendly (at night) to barely verbal (morning). I'd only go back if there were no other choices, and I'd never consider bringing my wife.

Could use some updating but for a quick overnight it was great. Very friendly staff and breakfast was well appointed, room was clean and quiet.

The staff are top notch. Very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. I needed help with directions and the front desk lady went above and beyond to get me on my way.
