Great place, the breakfast was very delicious, plenty of local dishes! Hotel is rather convenient to head to Mt. Ijen, love it!

Quite a good hotel, I especially loved the pool. However note that the pool was ice cold and we had trouble swimming due to that. You also need to ask them for pool towels, there isn’t an obvious counter for it.

Overall good experience staying at the hotel. Although this just serves as a resting place between our trips to/from Ijen. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and plenty of varieties to choose from.

It's pretty good, better than expected. Two people living here won't feel crowded. The air conditioning is pretty good. It's OK as a temporary stay. It's pretty good.

We stayed here for the Ijen tour, which is included in the package. The toilet has hot water, and they provided a hairdryer. Breakfast is included, although there isn't much variety. There is a Pizza Hut nearby, and a convenience store is located about a 5-minute walk away.

My friends stay at Grand Padis for Ijen trip, but on the way from Ijen coming back, there is traffic accident. I have called the hotel to inform them please wait for us to come back to pack and check out, we won't even shower. We will reach at 12pm and we will be done by 12.30pm. However the hotel insisted that they can't wait for another 30 minutes and what happened was that they packed our things into our luggage, and it's all done before 12pm, as if they can't wait for us to get out. So me and my friends have to open our luggage at lobby and pack again in the public, a very shameful incident. The hotel has no regard for decency considering that we are all ladies and it's best if they wait another 30 minutes for us to pack our things and get out. The worst part is they already pack our bags before 12pm as if they can't wait for us to leave. Next time I will stay at other hotel, maybe Baratha hotel. I don't want my undergarments to be touched by strangers.

We truly understand how you felt but first allow us to explain to every detail regarding to your issue. As for an information, we were first informed by your travel driver that there was traffic accident in the middle of road (main access road) that will cause your late coming to the hotel as the situation will cause a very long traffic jam. To clarify your statement, we were not receiving any phone call from you, not even a single one. We only communicated with you through your driver. With this kind of situation, we were asking to your driver to inform you whether you allow us to pack your belonging if the check-out timing is almost over and your driver told us that you were okay with this. Based on this information/your driver command, we then packed your belonging by using hand gloves (if your concern was about the undergarment touched by strangers, our male staff only packed male guest room and so did the female staff). To inform you, is not that we did not want to wait for your coming, we only followed management procedure regarding to check out timing which is 12.00 a.m. We really feel sorry to not let you having late check out because our hotel at that time was in a high occupancy so the next room after you, has been booked and some of the guests were already waiting in the lobby. As our apologies we then offered to have a shower before your leaving which you and your friends had a shower. Before your leaving, we also crosschecked to your driver about this issue and we found out that it was the driver mistakes who in the first place apparently did not inform you about the packing permission to you and the blame was throwing on us. Please accept our apologies for the oversight and I do hope that you will allow us another opportunity of welcoming you back to the hotel for a flawless experience from start to finish. Stayed for less than 6 hours, just the time to take a nap before going to Ijen. However, I saw enough negatives that I wouldn't go back: 1) Extremely slow and chaotic check-in. 2) The water in the shower was barely lukewarm 3) The switches for the night lamps on the sides of the bed are not located near the bed, but up the wall several meters away, i.e. one needs to walk in the dark for several meters. Who came up with this brilliant idea? The room is otherwise spacious and equipped with an electric kettle with coffee and tea. Comfortable bed and pillows. A/C worked well. Wifi worked well. Breakfast box was poorly packaged and items spilled out.

Grand Padis Hotel is the best, so Amazing, I was doing vacation trip from Jakarta, First time I knew that There is a huge modern 4 ****Luxury Hotel in East Java, When I took some breakfast, so many kind of item food - lot of variant, western, dimsum Chinese, Local tradition, stall, Indonesian, and so on. Looks like 5 ***** hotel. Service staff so pretty kind atttention. I was so glad, satisfied with Grand Padis Hotel, Bravo Grand Padis. Excellent..
