5/5PerfectThe hotel is in the center of city, next to Trinity Cathedral. It’s a beautiful old luxury building, walking distance to Newbury street shopping area. The room is small but the decorations are beautiful. When my son check in , he received $25 hotel credit to buy something in hotel . That’s not expected.

3/5The Hotel lobby is beautiful! The front desk staff was amazing. We “upgraded” to a King Suite. The entire “first floor” (one level above the lobby) is very dark. The room was large but it wasn’t clean. The carpet in the hall and in the room was dirty. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was not clean and there was no soap. I had to find a housekeeper to ask for soap, shampoo etc. I think because we booked through a third party vendor they give you the worst rooms. Reminded me of the movie the titanic- we were in the steerage area of the hotel or the oldest - probably haunted part of the hotel. That said, Amazing location!! I would book here again for sure!

Landmark hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel exterior and lobby and restaurant interiors were excellent. The room decor was a let down and the hotel management should consider reviewing and upgrading that to match the hotel .
