This is our third time visiting here. It’s a great place to come after the festivities of Christmas and new year and gives you something special to look forward to. Cannot fault it. Fabulous, professional staff, beautiful building, set in acres, great for walking. The food? There is no other way to describe it but sublime. It’s creative but not pretentious, the combinations of ingredients providing a culinary journey we haven’t been on anywhere else. Breakfast is just as delicious. Love the pairing of warm honey with avocado, smoked salmon and poached egg. This place is a real treat and a great way to start the new year! Love it.

This is the perfect place to stay. We were warmly welcomed, had a fantastic tasty top level dinner, had a great room with all luxury and comfort we wish, slept smoothly, had a tactful complete breakfast and a wonderful stay overall. Especially staff is very well trained, experienced an very customer friendly. And after all, the prices are very genuine. Extreme much value for money.

We had Afternoon Tea at Saltmarsh and experienced a real treat! We had delicious cakes and sandwiches all beautifully displayed on our table in the library. Afterwards we toured the gardens which was a delight and gave us ideas to improveour own plot! Monica provided the service and we could not fault any part of our experience: so much so that we return soon for Sunday lunch!

We had the most gorgeous lunch here. We experienced the bottomless brunch and all sat outside in the rose garden. The gardens are just beautiful and so well maintaned. The food was beyond delicious and all staff so polite, kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble! I have visited before for a wedding, yet never just come for lunch. We will be booking a return visit soon, so lovely to enjoy such a nice afternoon. Thank you Saltmarshe!

We only visited for Sunday lunch. Food was lovely. Hubby would have liked a bread roll with his soup. Otherwise no complaints. Got to speak to the mark ( I think) he was full of information about the house which we are interested in. We will definitely be back to stay. Well done to all the staff. You are a credit to the hall.

When we were choosing our venue for our special day, we knew the moment we stepped into Saltmarshe Hall that it was the place we wanted. We immediately loved the homely feel that it had, and the warm welcome from staff put us straight at ease. Thinking that the stunning grounds and beautiful house could be the backdrop for our wedding day made both of us emotional and we could not wait for our day. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our day was just perfect. The unexpected beautiful weather made our day all that we could have hoped for and more! A special shoutout to Ashleigh - nothing that we asked for was too much and she answered all of our million questions quickly and supported us both through the crazy process of planning a wedding! She had thought of things we had not even considered and ensured our day ran without a hitch. We just wish we could do it all again! The Yorkshire suite that we stayed in was incredible, we have never felt so fancy!! All of our friends and family that stayed here too could not stop commenting about how fantastic everything was - including the delicious breakfast the next morning. We cannot wait to come back again.

Lovely hotel ,we had a suite with great views.It is spotless in all areas .The restaurant is good with plenty to choose .It was the second time there and will definitely be returning in the near future.All the staff are friendly and helpful .and always smiling

Absolutely stunning ! Everything was simply *******. The rooms the grounds the staff the food . Not one single negative to our whole stay . Can't wait to go back . Thank you it was exactly what I needed . Next time we will not be leaving to explore we will be lapping up the luxury of this beautiful hotel .

We had a fantastic 60th birthday party for my wife Sara with 50 guests friends and family we took over the hotel for the party . Amy and the team really look after us superbly well both pre and during the party. Nothing was too much trouble and there where very useful suggestions All our guests complemented the hall the food and the staff in equal measure …… Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury stay at a perfect country house venue We will definitely be back again
