Arrived today at site and no security and no staff. We walked straight on and around the site unchallenged. This site is unsafe. Pitches are also so close you could pass things to your neighbor straight out your window. Very poor staff wrote to me prior claiming I hadn’t paid when their invoice quite clearly stated balance on arrival. Avoid it’s not worth it

We stayed for 5 nights thinking there would be plenty to do with the pool, lake and city to explore. The pool was decent however the lake is not good for swimming, very swampy and very restricted. The city is also not the greatest place to visit. The campsite is ok however our pitch had cigarette butts all over it. Food is very limited and the bar expensive. Shower blocks are good and clean. Staff ok but could be a lot friendlier. I think a decent place for a stop over but wouldn't recommend a longer stay.

Good camping, the spaces for camping car are enormous and with water and electricity. The pool is good for kids but nothing special. The bar and pizzas could be much better, too expensive for the bellow average quality.

We first visited this municipal campsite 39 years ago with our children it had not long been opened and with all the national flags flying and beautiful flower beds at the entrance looked very inviting. Having stayed her most years since our first visit sometime 1 or 2 weeks with children and grandchildren ( except during COVID ) and recommending it to other members of the family, we have found that since it’s been taken over by a private company the toilet blocks have been modernised and done very well ( though not to our liking as they are now mixed male and female) On our first visit a surprise was that water and electric was available on all pitches sadly the water facility has been removed from most pitches so you would need to bare this in mind if booking. Finally the pitches over the years have gone from grass to mud I appreciate this year 2022 has been very dry but this has been like this for some years now. The next few days will be our last visit to this site, it’s we great sadness as we have made so many memories over the years

Choose this site as a two night stop over en route further south. Nice small, quiet site close to lake and only 15 minute cycle to city centre. Plenty of walking paths around lake and along river. Stayed in a cabin. The positioning of most of the cabins is cleverly done to give each maximum private from surrounding ones so you get the feeling of having much more space. Our 2 bedroom cabin is functional, beds ok, gas hob, microwave, fridge, sink, coffee machine, tv (french stations only) shower, separates toilet and heating. On under cover decking, table and chairs and deck chairs. No toaster, no grill or oven. On site, swimming pool, pizza take away (only open July & august!) bar, (only open also July august), no on site shop, so coming in June basically nothing on site. Supermarket less than a mile away. Also on site bike hire 13 euro, car charging facility, chargeable, about half the cost of fuel, in car park by reception. Bread can be ordered from reception by 7pm to collect and pay the following morning. Overall a nice place to spend a night or two and we would use again.

In spite of researching this site, we arrived to find the swimming pool, restaurant and bar closed we arrived on 25 September. When we looked in the bar/restaurant the staff waived and said closed, we would have chosen an alternative site had this been on the web site, we often stay in this area and will be more careful next time. on leaving for our ferry the barrier did not go up we wasted another 20 minutes while it was sorted out. We would like to say that the reception staff were helpful.

Please be aware of the peep hole in the mixed gender shower. I bought this to the bar managers attention and wrote a complaint but still after a week it has not been addressed. It spoilt my holiday to be spied on whilst showering !!!

Piscine Calme. 19,10€ pour 2 avec électricité. Personnel sympathique.
